I gave my parents petrol money and some birthday money too when they visited. I left them to go to work on Friday and when I came back they had left a microwave for me as a gift with their money as they don't want me to be deprived. Honestly they are just tooooo nice!!!!! I put the money back in their accounts but I am money poor at the moment even if I am device rich!!!!
Then 3dogs and the boys came to visit in the evening and we treated ourselves to Fish'n'chips so all in all Friday was great.
Today it is a bit breezy but lovely and sunny in the garden. I was trying to get a tan on my legs (as my arms and face are tanned) but my legs aren't! However the breeze has driven me inwards. I am giving up gracefully but have some washing on the line. I have vacuumed and mopped and tidied bathroom.
Just ordered something else for my dad on fleabay - cost £50. I see it as a saving as it is cheaper than retail and it will help him with his health. Charged to credit card. He is my dad and I wouldn't be here without him. He and mum are amazing. I think it will all even out when I get my overtime in August but for this month I can continue saving a bit (like £50) for now rather than a whole £250. I have only £100 for food, spending etc. I have put my credit card purchase money (ie Virgin line rental) in a separate account so I don't spend it by mistake.
I am waiting for fleabay sales to happen tomorrow I know two items will definitely sell and the others have several watchers so I hope I make something for my savings fund.
Weather utterly amazing all day. Birds are chirping quite happily. All is well in the world. Smile.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
Yay to lovely parents and a new microwave :T:T0

It's great but I know I will barely use it! lol. I have just spent £2.00 on a book of UK Trees. I feel a bit guilty as I am supposed to be saving but £2.00 for such a fab book is not to be sneezed at.:o
I used to be quite fashionable and now I am a nerd:D
A happy one though lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Mrs Upsidedown Bear you do make me laugh!!!!!:j
Today I will be washing clothes and drying on the line and, best of all, waiting for fleabay auctions to end. After my big spends on presents this month I hope I make some money. :money:
Hooray I have made just over £20! 4 out of 5 items sold. I have also put up another 9 of my unused makeup on for next week. My make up box is looking clearer!
I have some Tetley Tea things and three pictures to sell in the summer. Once that is over I will have to find another way to make extra money. I will be going to Aesop's thread for inspiration in the hols.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I posted two fleabay items today after work to my buyers. I am still waiting for two people to pay.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

What a looooong week or two! Most of my work is over but am doing timeconsuming unpaid work at work if that makes sense.
In my industriousness I appear to have spent a lot of money. I am going to write it down and try to figure where it has all gone!
Oh what a palaver! Why didn't I keep a diary?:
£66 transferred to holiday account for safekeeping so I can pay virgin via credit card at end of month
£40 money for new microwave cash given to dad
£80 money for petrol and also food money I owed mum and dad
£50 money spent on dad's father's day present
£35 money spent on dad's birthday present
£15 spent on niece while she visited
£20 money spent on gang when they visited (fish and chips and fizzy pop from takeaway as late back from work so no time to cook!)
£15 on taxis for medical treatment today (no buses available at this time)
£14 spent on food and snacks this week at work.
£5.00 spent on fleabay postage
Everything else was essential as far as I can see but the red bit is my non essential spending on myself.
Blimey! Do you know when Wile E Coyote get's knocked over? That's how I feelAiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I have some good news.....on the fleabay front I have several auctions ending tomorrow and all but one item has been bidded on. I have already made £20. Hurrah!!!
Unfortunately all of these items cost me a lot more money. Still I am decluttering which is good for my piece of mind.
I was going to mow grass but that requires effort and I am too tired so instead I will tidy up really slowly and watch tv in between.
I should be going to a carboot tomorrow. I hope it will be a good morning. It will be my first one this year.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
What a lovely busy day I have had. I went to a car boot v early. I snapped up some great books and a cd - total spend was 2.30. I did spend £10.00 on tea and bacon sandwiches for me and the kind friend who took me ( I can't get there as I don't drive and he always takes me but this is the first time I have been all year).
Then I went to Aldi and spent £10 on shopping for most of the week. What a fab shop!
Then I mowed grass at front and back. Nearly killed self. Note don't ever buy another house with a big garden.
Now I have just looked at fleabay I can't believe it! I have made £47.99. OMG. I am rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:beer::money::D:T
