Thank you ladies.Firstly for the picture of my dear friend Mr Craig and then for advising me about selling the clothes.
I think that's all I have left to sell. I hardly wear anything nice any more and some of those clothes are timeless. So I hope I can make some money.
I did see a garden table and chairs set on fleabay but have decided I don't have any money spare so I am not putting it on my credit card. I will make do that's what a sensible person would do.
Weather is glorious, long may it last.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Why don't you check freegle and freecycle. People might be giving away decent garden furniture as have upgraded. It will be new to you, even though not new x0

Ladies everyone at work was talking about really glamorous foreign holidays they have been to and are going on this summer. Some of them are on lower salaries than me. Blimey I feel a bit inadequate. Do you ladies travel? I haven't been abroad for about 10 years.
All my nice clothes are from when I worked full time. How do you cope with 'the Joneses'? I am feeling sorry for myself.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Seriously, I know what you mean. It's hard sometimes so have a hug
I've had 2 holidays abroad. I'd like a holiday this year but haven't decided where or when. The things I'd like to do are too expensive
Maybe the people taking glamorous holidays pay for it by being frugal the rest of the year or getting themselves into debt or their rich OH pays or something.
Please don't feel inadequate - you're lovely :A0 -
You know me SW. Not been abroad long before DS was born. Bought passports last year, hoping to go away and we didn't and probably won't this year either.
Like Upsidedown Bear says, they are either in debt, or save hard all year to have a nice holiday. But when two of you and both working, it's easier. Hard for you on your own with a mortgage.0 -

Bless you Aesop and Mrs Upsidedown Bear, there are lots of advantages of me being an old maid (a tidy bathroom, I just iron for myself etc) the only disadvantage is that it is harder to afford overseas holidays. All in all though I quite like being me and I do have the best friends. So I shall stay happy and remember that. Bless you both. :kisses3:Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Payday tonight. Hurrah!
I should be in London with the gang on Saturday. I think we are staying over. Aesop are you able to meet up? Mrs Upside down bear do you live close to London?
Aesop if you ever feel like a few days away you are welcome to visit and stay with me. Bring DS we can take him to the beach and have fun. This year I am going to get fit and walk on the beach as much as possible. It is a bus ride away and I always forget why I moved here!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
