I'm sure there was a thread in the "Boost Your Income" forum at one point about taking in students over holidays. Might be worth a read to see what other people's experiences have been, and what kinds of questions you should ask the woman who comes to view the house?
Edit - Found the thread! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/576176"You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

Thank you so much. It sounds quite good. I think I might enjoy it if I am accepted!
I have seen the weather and it will be good tomorrow so I am taking tomorrow as my day off in the week so I can spend the day with my parents who are visiting.
Housey is tidy - ive cleaned gas cooker, fridge, bathroom so I can chill. I still haven't ironed and might do that tomorrow.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Today I painted the garden table and it is drying. So far it has had one coat and was much easier to do than the chairs.
I have mowed the grass as it is supposed to rain tomorrow. My lawn is being invaded by clover :eek::eek:

It is weird isn't it. I felt a few drops tonight but no clouds? The weather for tomorrow keeps changing too. :j
I'm at work tomorrow and hope it passes quickly as I want to spend time with my parents. They are quite excited about this taking in a student idea - I hope it works out. My salary will just about cover my costs so I need to think smart for the future.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
