I have just put some clothes on the washing line. It should dry by tonight.
Something amazing happened, I found a tenner today in the street - no one was around to ask if they dropped it so I have kept it. It has never happened before. :j Usually if I find anything I find the owner or give it to charity but I am broke so I am keeping it.
The housing lady is going to visit my house on the 5 july to see if I can house a student. I think I am supposed to have a desk in their room but I don't however there are plenty of tables round the house they can use. I hope that is ok. Fingers crossed as I will need plenty of money to make up for the new contract which involves a 3.5 grand pay cut at work.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

It's horrible I never expected to be this poor at this stage in my life. I am just so grateful that I have a job still. Plenty of people at work have lost theirs. I have to think smart now that's the only way to survive.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Hello my lovely I went back to bed and only just got up. I agree with you about the rain, I'm so glad we can walk around without the extreme temperatures. It is still raining here but it is only slight.
My friend has just rung up and said not to car boot tomorrow but they are treating me to a breakfast. I think that's lovely as I am a bit poor and don't really want to take money out of the holiday fund (as there isn't much in it!). lol.

Hope you've had a lovely morning out SW! It's so difficult to think of ways to have an NSD when the weather is so nice. You want to enjoy being out but it's so difficult to not spend money DX"You won't bloom until you're planted" - Graffiti spotted in Newcastle.

Hello ladies, it's hard as everyone I know is planning to go on a lovely holiday and I wont be able to. Today was a good day, I had a lovely fry up, then we walked round the shops. I bought eye drops, new diary for next year, loaf of bread. My total spend was £3.75.
I have £15 in my purse now for the week ahead. It'll be cheap as my parents will bring loads of food for me.
I do have slightly more in my bank account but I am not going to touch it. I hope I am able to take in students over the summer as I don't know how I can cut back any more.
Ive just put a wash out and will sleep for a bit (as I am tired after the fry up) then I will do some ironing.
I might ebay some odd stuff around the house in the holiday. I am looking out for things I can get rid of.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
