So UKPC using incentive schemes is against the BPA code of practice

What are you going to do about that Mr Troy?

Nothing I imagine. Doesn't seem to be anything at all about bonuses being prohibited in the BPA Code of Practice, so it would seem he just said there was so the BPA can come out looking better than they actually are.

There isn't, other than some woolly words about acting "professionally".
  • Why did he pay them a penny? He should have gone down the POPLA route.
  • Did I miss a reference to POPLA?

There was no independent appeals process mentioned that I recall.

They may have felt it to be rather irrelevant, given that only 2% of motorists with parking charges pursue that route.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Patrick Troy and Lian Duncan !!!!!!! have many things in common.
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • Bod, I meant the presenter.

Having watched this and the first episode of World at War today I suspect Herr Goebbels would have been proud of the industry responses. They made him look like an amateur in the propaganda stakes.

I would say that fact would make it relevant as its an avenue the general ignorant public ought to be informed of so that 2% figure could multiply to be a far bigger thorn, pain, for the ppc scam industry. And just a little tiny mention of you lot on sites such as this wouldn't have been out of the way either. :)
