Can you log in to Amazon still?
If so, you can escalate your complaint so they will call you back quicker and resolve if they can. If not, you'll be low priority unfortunately.
It might be worth going part way through the process of setting up an account and seeing if there is a help number along the way. Don't, whatever you do, actually try and set up an account!

Well, like I said, account specialists are the only ones who can view my account as my account is closed. The only way you can contact these "specialists" is via email (which I have done) and it seems they use an automated script. I don't see anything happening in regards to these specialists, so I'm waiting on pock.io still

Not sure how good this contact number for Amazon would be

If I have a problem, as an account holder, I give them my number and they call back in a minute or two, so not sure how any other approach would work.

After so many differing opinions on this one, I hope that unlike 90% of posters, the OP comes back to update this thread.
  • I hope you get it all resolved OP and please let us know the outcome.
Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me :)
  • OP, Twitter is a good bet. When I had problems with Amazon and couldn't get anywhere with email/live chat, I posted it on Twitter and a solution was magically available within half an hour...

The thing about twitter, facebook and diaspora (amongst many) is that tehy are very public.
Post a comment or complaint and everyone who is following the Companies social media feed will see it and may respond with comments of their own.

Email and livechat on the other hand, are very much private comms systems. Only those involved in the conversation get to see what is said.

That is why some companies wth a bad C/S (TalkTalk, BT & Aldi spring to mind) prefer to stear their customers away from public sites when dealing with complaints, but do the opposite with customer praise.

If they can keep the complaints a secret, then they can (falsely) claim to have good c/s.

I've had a few successes with Twitter, resolving problems that seemed to be a lost cause. One was for a big company who claimed they couldn't exchange a faulty item for a different model, only the same one (after I'd had 3 faulty ones). A short and to the point tweet, and they asked me to PM my phone number, within ten minutes I had a call from the CEO's office and an exchange the same day.
