Ok, regardless of who's account the name was, I should still be 100% entitled to my money back, should I not?

Why should Amazon refund your money, they dont have your money as you never purchased from them.

It was from a website called pock.io,

    Something fishy going on.

not have credit card to buy ipad with?
However bought gift card online? how? that site accepts bitcoin, how did you purchase bitcoin?

why did you not just get your father to buy using his card and you pay him cash?

or buy gift card from a reputable retailer with cash?

or even purchase ipad from a supermarket or apple direct as they are all priced the same

It was not actually opened by me in my name, it was on my dads name who is 45 years old

I think you need to tell the truth as you now say its your dads account and yet in your opening comment you stated

Hi, I purchased £300 of amazon gift card as I am 17 and I don't have a credit card. I applied this balance to my new amazon account, and ordered a new iPad to the collect+ location up my road. However, shortly after I received an email from amazon stating that my account had been closed as it was related to another? Well, I've never had an amazon account before!

I think you have opened your own Amazon account and Amazon have spotted you are under 18 so closed the account for breaching their terms

Pock.io looks genuine enough, although I have no experience of them.

You may want to be looking closer to home and find out why your father isn't allowed on Amazon.

If Amazon have closed the account then you can't use the gift certificates. You will then have to refer back to pock.io and let them know you can no longer use the gift certificates and would like an alternative. At this stage that is your best, and probably only, option.

You're on a sticky wicket as you have used a false account/false details so have negated all consumer rights.

OP why did you not just order Apple Store Gift Card from Pock.io if you were using them for an ipad
  • Ok, fine, I didn't use my dads account, but why is that the issue? I should still be entitled to get my gift cards back at least! How can they justify keeping my money?

They haven't got your money. They have just refused your ability to use your gift cards. Tell that to who supplied them, ask them to check and cancel.
