I amend my S/O's online all the time. Can you set up another one for the tax payments? That way you can amend that without changing or mixing up the xmas savings. I don't know about you but my SO's gives me a total paid when I check
xx

I've just had a quick look; I can do one-off extra payments for the SO, but I need my card reader each time which is a bit of a pain.. But then at least the money is tucked away. I would really hate to suddenly get a big tax bill and not be prepared! xxLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

I reckon it might be as well to just open an e-saver with your bank? Then you can make the transfer across on online/mobile banking without even thinking of it. or set up a DD. And keep the total in your signature under the heading TAX: so you can see it going up. Is there a way you can work out what tax you have accrued across the year so that you can keep up with it? Might keep you motivated to not spend it!! x

I think you might be right
a job for tmrw I think. It needs to be easy, otherwise I won't do it
. I think as long as I transfer across 20% of the business money I'll be ok, as I'll have deductions etc to take from that.. Any excess at the end of the financial year I'll transfer into savings.
Check out my new sig.. In a month, I've paid off over £450 from CC1, so pleased!!:D

It really does help that we haven't had to pay council tax this month so I can't take all the credit.. But it's a good way to start, and I'm really pleased.. Right now I'm thinking my goal of this card being at £3K by Christmas needs revisiting..! If I can do £500 a month it could be almost GONELBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Hi stepup :-)
Just had a wee browse through your diary! You've done amazingly well in such a short space of time! Pretty inspirational reading!
My SOA is also telling me I've got money to play with. Seems that's literally what I've been doing because I certainly don't actually see any of it at the end of the month! Fingers crossed that means I can follow your footsteps and start kicking some booty!!0 -
Thank you 10YTC! I think keeping a spending diary has really helped me see exactly where my money goes; Tilly Tidying the odd pence is very motivating, as is doing a payment a day. I didn't really trust my SOA which is why I've been tidying into my savings a/c - so I can transfer money back if I've forgotten anythingLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Crappy day.. I'm so tired
mum was taken into hospital this afternoon but not til after so much waiting around.. Won't go into details but families are really quite rubbish sometimes aren't they? Mum is doing ok though. I've got a very large glass of wine on the go and fully intend to have the entire bottle. No OP today as I don't have the energy. I have worked out that this month I have paid off 6% of CC1, which is v good. Zzzzzzz
ETA: Tilly! :hello: thanks for dropping by, and thanks for introducing me to Tilly tidies!LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go
