Haha - I think we could discuss insulation all day mate :D

Luckily our new house has a partition, the first property that I have stayed in for 7+ years that did!

Hi Lucky, I've just caught up with your diary and have to tell you how impressed I am - you're doing amazingly well, both on the renovations and the EF! Do you have a target MF date?

Thank you for takeing the time out to catch up :] means a lot

Mf date don't really have a date as such in mind ideally 10years or less im 28 now just turned so to be mf by 40 is the main target

As im self employed i dont have a fixed income so its hard to tell 2-3 years down the road what ill be earning/doing

the 2 year plan for now is to overpay the 10% im allowed
    6700 in first year
and around 6000 in the 2nd year then i can see what i got saved where i am in 2 years time

i should ow around 50k then at this stage

Once iv furnished the house next month ill sit down tho and have a good look at things :j

  • Hi Lucky,

Thought I would drop in and say hello  I love the wood floor - it looks gorgeous! I think having wooden floors always makes a room look so much warmer and real wood has such character.

Fingers crossed that the remortgage gets sorted soon as that interest rate drop will be a massive help.

You are doing amazingly well! :T Have a great rest of the weekend.

  • Hi Lucky,

Just popping in to say thanks - you've saved me a fiver - I normally buy magazines at the weekend but I've sat and read your diary instead :D

Well done on the house renovation - puts me to shame - I've been in a year and decorated nothing, need to get on it :)

Hope you hear about your mortgage this week,

    sellop
  • Hi Lil
Me too, just caught up with your diary, loving the floors, windows and loft pics, keep them coming,

You're getting there very quickly so will be finished in no time, just before the clocks go back, then it'll be time to sit with your feet up, nice and cosy, with a nice glass of something in your hand. Perfect.

    Keep up the good work.
Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's
