Hi Lucky -I've been reading through your diary and wanted to say well done, you've achieved so much in such a small space of time. If you carry on at that rate I'm sure you'll have the mortgage paid off in no time (or at least have the cash stashed away to pay it off if you wanted to)! :T:T:T

Thank you MG for taking the time out to read it :]

SO spent the last 2 days painting still another 2 days to go

Wood flooring is picked Solid Oak Lacquered Flooring inc thermal barrier
Its a light floor price is around £1100 fitted this is around £38 m2 show price is 45 m2 squared waiting to see if the fitter can get it cheaper for me
This is a pic its a slightly darker in person
    1887.jpg
This doesnt look like it does in person really but i like putting pics up haha

Carpet is picked and priced up at £1600 as need 50m2 of it for stairs landing and 3 roooms and underlay included this is around £20-23 m2
    Caress-bliss-milton-keynes-carpets.jpg

I could get a cheaper carpet but even that is £1200 so id rather go for a quality one that will last twice as long

So it looks like the flooring is going to cost around £2600 for everything

This is £600 more than i never thought carpet would be so much i guess its the pure area i need to cover

please tell me you guys have spent the same lol

Ya i guess it does im having solid wood as its very similar priced to engineered wood so for a few £ extra may as well it should last a very long time indeed outlast me probably

Some laminates are not far off that price these days

wood feels a lot better and is a lot more random in terms of pattern than laminates iv seen felt

Looks amazing LIL. We've got laminate at the moment and it looks good, but I always think this stuff looks much better, should last a good while longer too.
