Motorists, have you removed your paper tax disc from your windscreen yet?

According to a poll by the AA of nearly 20,000 members, just 20% has removed the paper tax disc from car windscreens.

Have you taken yours out since the need for paper discs was removed or is it just too hard to let it go after all these years?

took it out.. it runs out the end of the month anyway.

I like it there .... So the one that ran out end of Jan is still there.

Mine's still there, otherwise I'd have an extra bit of windscreen to clean, pfffttt to that !!!

Still there. It expired at the end of Jan but I'll remove it the next time I give the car a good clean.

Its also displayed upside down and on the wrong side but nobody has ever taken issue with that ever!

Took mine off on the 1/10/14 but it was due for renewal on 1/11/14, I like a clear windscreen.:D

Still got disc on my V6 Alfa 159 (expires end of March) as I like people to see how much i'm contributing to our wonderful government. Plus I don't agree with the new system anyway as I think it makes it easier for the determined tax dodger to get away with paying.

Took mine out, saves cleaning round it.
Wonder if they will fail mot in the future, over 40mm in swept area - which is where many are/were placed.

It's so expensive, I'm getting as much use out of it as I can. Will definitely stay on until its expired!
