It cant be from October because I renew my tax disc every 6 months and I had my November 2014 tax disc sent.

If, by "Nov 14", you mean one starting FROM Nov 14, then - no, you didn't...0 -
Yes, I've taken it offlondonTiger wrote: »I presume the latter is for when you are in an accident - maybe you can avoid accidents by removing the tax disc holder so it opens up your view - I know it probably improves your vision by 1.5% or something. Took mine off the bike and it hasn't improve my view at all.0 -
No, it's still onMines staying up until it runs out end of AprilIf you change nothing, nothing will change!!0

Yes, I've taken it offRemoved it on 1st October given that it's the renewal date for my car anyway so getting rid of the disc made more sense than keeping an out-of-date one on the windscreen...Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

Surely that should be the month and year one year after the first registration?
I have left mine in. I quite like them, and they cost me enough. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -

Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. Some of the companies who supply them will rubber stamp the issue date for the date of registration, on a disk "running" to a year later.
I just like the idea of being reported by any local busy-bodies for being 18 / 20 years out of tax

It would have to be a very little cyclist - probably make the Cheese Cowboy look like a Sweetcorn Giant!0 -
Yes, I've taken it off
That does not make any sense, if the changeover had happened from April 2014, you would not have been issued with a disc starting then.londonTiger wrote: »i 5thought the changeover was from April 2014.

You could not have had a tax disc sent starting from the 1st Nov 2014 as they ceased to be issued from 1st Oct. 2014, see post #42 above.
In your first post you stated ' i was probably the first person to take mine in my area because my renewal was for 1st April' so exactly when did you remove your disc?0 -
