My car has never had a paper tax disc, being new since the changes introduced.
SWMBOs car still has the expired disc on display. If it was taken out, I don't know where the collection of 10 years or more tax discs will be stored!

I removed it on my old car as it expired and people kept saying your tax is out of date.

Just bought another car and its got the old disc from the last owner showing its taxed until later this year. Although thats not the real tax expiry date.

I have left mine in place since 30/9/14 .

I've removed mine. Now using my tax disc holder to display a free emergency contact disc I downloaded. It can be used to contact me without showing my details, which I like. Details here: http://whosmyowner.com/a-safer-tax-disc-replacement/

No, it's still on

Mine is still there to act as a reminder of when I'll need to renew it - I might even put a bit of paper in the holder after it does expire to remind be about next year's renewal.
