If you do go to see the film (and I hope it's an improvement on the pile of cack the books were!!!), don't forget to call in B&Q on the way home.......

"Staff at B&Q stores have been told to read Fifty Shades of Grey and prepare for a massive rise in demand for rope, cable ties and tape.
A leaked memo reveals that workers at the DIY chain have been asked to prepare themselves for "sensitive" customer questions about such products, which could be used in sexual role play.
The memo, circulated to the DIY store's entire 20,887 workforce at 359 stores, is titled: "Staff Briefing – Preparation for Fifty Shades of Grey Customer Queries."
It says copies of the erotic novel will be delivered to each store and can then be lent to staff on a one week basis.
Staff are urged to familiarise themselves with the book and to deal with any related queries in a "polite, helpful and respectful manner".

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Surely the MSE option would be LoveHoney who have several special offers on right now, plus you can get loyalty points to put towards further products?

Not that I would know about that, or anything.... smiley-face-whistle-2.gif

You'll look less like a serial killer too!

Gotta be honest, that is a bit rapey. Why would anyone go to a DIY store for those products? Cheaper, maybe, but not the most aesthetic for a romantic evening of kinky mischief. What if a genuine rapist buys those products, the staff would just assume he wants to surprise his wife/girlfriend?

    From that article:

"Store managers are requested to monitor stock levels of rope, cable ties, masking tape and duck tape to ensure that supplies do not run low."

I know it's the Telegraph but come on!!!

As for B&Q, rather than monitoring stock levels of cable ties they should be trying to steer customers away from them if they're intending to use them for anything other than tying up cables.

Lovehoney is a good site and I usually order lube from them, they're really good. I bought some lube a while back from amazon and it isn't as good as lovehoney's. The one i get from the latter is in a long blue see transparent bottle and is about a tenner.
