How much can I expect to pay for 4 new tyres?

Go and get tyres fitted at a local independant tyre fitter before going to get your MOT done. Phone them first to agree a price for 4 tyres supplied and fitted. Remember and ask them to check your spare too if you have one.0

So one appears to be below the legal limit, and another two also appear to be the same. It's not OK.
My bad, autocorrect on my phone! I did use a 20p.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

So you are still driving around in a car with dangerous and illegal tyres?0

Well, I measured my tyres using a 50p earlier and one of them just matches the ridge on the coin, two just go over the ridge and one is absolutely fine, so I'm guessing I'll need 1 to 3 new ones, but I'm totally okay with that as I know I drive so many miles.
Check the spare as well, unless it's a different size spacesaver.
If it roughly matches the best other one, these could go on the front and two new ones on the back, saving the next best as spare.0 -

It's the mot tester you needed, still when he finds £500 worth of work they need someone to do it.
I'm having a service and an MOT done at the same appointment so the service guy is needed. As I paid on card I wouldn't get the money back right away, especially at the weekend. So if I booked it again and then found I needed work doing I might not have enough to cover it all.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

If things are that tight, you might not have enough on the card to get your car back.0
