  • Thanks to all for their help and advice on this subject - like many others I wouldn't even know of this opportunity were it not for some of the guys on here...so cheers!

I have completed my application form and got it back Thursday AM - does anyone know how long it usually takes them to get back to you with an answer? I didn't get an acknowledgement email - is that normal?

Again, many thanks for all your help!

  • Similar question to the above I guess - I completed and returned my application & test over a week ago. I didn't get an acknowledgement email or anything either. Is this a normal amount of time to have to wait?
Thanks so much for all the advice on here, I would never have applied without all the info everyone's submitted. Sorry I've not been able to post any helpful info - I don't have any so have just been quietly reading this post!!!

I really want to apply to AQA and i'm just filling in the application form but I don't want to put my current employer as a reference (Because I am off sick - I have depression/anxiety and can't leave the house on my own)

Do you think I could put my old employer and one of my friends who's a qualified accountant. Will they send it back if I leave bits blank, like reason for leaving, job title etc?

Thanks for any help guys :)

Damn! I just had a look and they don't want people in the UK at the moment. I actually do exactly this sort of job for a living so I should pass the test!

I can't believe people are paying for this service though as similar ones are available for free via the public library service.

Oh no. I wonder if the fact that they are not needing people in the UK anymore will affect those of us who have already applied?

Just got my first review back and I passed- woohoo!! Can get crackig now on some serious money before christmas. ANyone who is already a researcher, is it easy enough to do the tax forms? I already have another job so don't want to be taxed more on that as well.
