Quality of answers is important on the review, speed doesn't matter.

  • Its hard but don't focus on speed to start with, the content is much more important. My SR told me that 1 failed review means a warning, 2 means a in-depth chat with senior staff and 3rd is possible termination. Ultimately it depends a lot on what you are failing on, if you are blatantly ignoring the rules and giving shoddy answers then they will get rid of you asap.

  • Without straying too far from AQA, anyone got any tips on answering the unanswerable question at Texperts?

Oh god, I've just got my test through. I really really don't want to mess it up. I'm almost too scared to do it!!!

I've looked at the first question and don't even know how to answer it - it's one of those 'what should I do' type questions. Oh god.
  • I just had the application test back. I haven't opened it yet but that's because I haven't got excel which it says you must have. Is there an alternative? Also, has anyone seen the application form? Some of the layout I don't understand. There's one bit that just says: Yes No.

Who have people put for references that don't have employment history?

    The email says
Students who have no employment history can provide contact details for their tutor and a lecturer who can give a character reference

So maybe if you are not a student you could find two other character witnesses.

This brings up a question, do they actually contact your references?

Use https://www.openoffice.org to get very good software for free which will read the Excel file no problem (remember to save it in Excel format as well before you send it back).
