I totally agree with you about the pilot mrs M-P. Heartbreaking.

DS3 has lost his school shoes. Along with the two pairs of trousers that went missing at the beginning of term this is not good.

I hate snow having broken my arm in 1981 after slipping on ice. I want it to go away.

DH has been made redundant and is all over the place emotionally and mentally. He's really said some hurtful things,I keep thinking of marriage vows. This is definately for worse. I need to get a grip but my eyes are leaking.

sorry, haven't caught up with thread, and have abandoned monday's list - I did however have a big tidy up yesterday which has stood me in good stead.

off to do some jobs while the kids play (reasonably) nicely then I will have to avoid bath time no more and face it head on :(

Mumto5 I hope something turns up for him soon work wise and you can both weather the storm. It must be a very stressful time for you. Hugs.

Shredder is having to have another cool down. It is so temperamental
DS2 has gone off to do the show lighting and DS1 seems to be having a power nap, I think he's going to an open mic night later. We are hoping to get a dvd finished that we started the other night and I might get another square finished.

Nowhere in the marriage vows does it say 'I accept being verbally abused' And you absolutely are not the whipping post for anyone elses behaviour. You don't need to get a grip.. he does.. you have done nothing to deserve this.. it is ok for him to be angry and fed up but that doesn't make it your fault, if he needs help getting his thoughts and feelings in order there are a number of places to go.. most start with the GP but out with friends, indulging in a hobby or something he always wanted to try may give him new direction.. wallowing helps no one.

I think I just got all mamabear protective of you.. I wasn't going to post this but once I realised I was Pigzilla it does have an amusing side..

Spit in his gravy.. it helps.. honest ;)

Roaring like a raging beast whenever they start moaning helps too.. it releases your frustration and shocks them into silence lol..

I have some strange tendencies! Come hide at my house ((((hugs))))

OMG.. Dot is asking to go to bed.. I best run fast before she changes her mind ;)

Huge hugs for both you, Mumto5, and your DH. He must be feeling as though he's totally out of control, but ...

    ... ^ ^ ^ wot she said.

Shopping done, market visited, and Mrs Dog taken to the vet. The new-to-me-vet refused to prescribe again until I took her in for a once-over, so Mrs Dog did her usual wall of death around the surgery. We've come away with a fist full of drugs (hurrah) and nothing left in the bank account (boo).
    Better is good enough.

Mumto5 so sorry to hear about DH.

Honey Bear hope Mrs Dog doesn't have to go to the vets again as they have a nasty habit of draining our money don't they!

MrsMP what are you knitting or is it just squares for now?

Just got S up to bed, Z to go soon. J is out at Explorer Scouts so I've got a quiet evening.

Aww mumto5 I hope something turns up for him soon and that he realised very quickly that taking it our on loved ones doesn't help xxx

ionafan I hope your friend is settled. It's an emotional journey, and a sad one, but I hope the place works for her needs and gives you and her son the support that you need too xxx

Glad you sorted the money question mrs mp

I've done very little today. I left at 6am and got home at 4ish. Kids were at club so I made a start on dinner (diet friendly!) and putting a few kitchen bits away (MIL washed up last night :A but doesn't know where everything goes). Kiddies fed, cuddled and sent to bed ;) DD was a bit of a grotbag - overtired but even so, she was told not to speak to me in that manner again. And to stop pulling her bobbles out of her hair or she'll get the nitties  :rotfl:

Two interviews done, two more tomorrow. Both nice chaps but not sure they are what we need, so hoping one of the tomorrow ones comes up with the goods.

We are back out of the house tomorrow before 8 until lord know when. Inlaws have offered to pick them up for DD swimming since I'll be at the office - we just need to keep an eye on the weather, we are both at opposite high points of the city so both tend to get the snow if it's around. If I'm collecting the little ones I want to be away from the office at 2.30 at the latest just in case (usually at home Weds so not normally a problem). Normal service shall resume next week.

Feeling a bit muddled in my head this week but realised it would have been DHs birthday on Thursday. He would have been 39 this time. Probably explains why I can't think about more than one thing at a time this week. We are going out to a pantomime that night, so will (hopefully) be a nice distraction.

Right, think I'll make my pack up for tomorrow then go see to DS. Can hear him sniffing and he's clearly not asleep...
