Back from mils warfarin check, got her safely on the bus and started to walk home, a neighbour who used to work in wages office for nhs offers me a lift so I mentinoed the problem I thought I'd found with mils banking, she confirmed something I'd read on Internet yesterday that the number I'd found putting money into mils account is her hospital pension. She'd rung the bank yesterday and asked and they said it was to to with civil service or army pensions I've been up all night worrying she was getting money she wasn't entitled to. Normally she sits with the bank statements and I ask her what amounts are coming in and out. For the past 4 years when I've said is your pension still £X she's said yes so I've worked it out at that amount.
Because yesterday she just gave me the pile of statements and I worked direct from them. Because it had gone up a few quid I ought it was an extra amount going in so was in cold sweat all night wondering if it would effect her pension credit or council tax etc. I think I aged 10 years overnight!
Thank the Lord for helpful neighbours!!!!
I've told her I'll still go round on Thursday and we'll go through all paperwork and file it properly so we both know where everything is.
And breathe,,,,,,SPC~12 ot 124

Glad you've got MiL sorted, Mrs-mp, and hope your stomach is truly unknotted now
AS weigh in this morning and I have gained but I think still within target.
Just before we went out had a call from the nursing home to say my friend is being transferred from hospital today, so all flying is suspended while I get her settled.
Catch up later.... x0 -

Yesterday's list updated as above.
Flat viewing went OK - we saw two but weren't wowed by either of them. The one we liked on the website was all right but a lot smaller in person and needed quite a bit doing to it, and the one the estate agent showed us to was nice inside - well apart from the rotting bathroom windowsill - but wasn't in a very nice building (two of the downstairs flats had had the doors kicked in which didn't exactly fill us with confidence!). Oh well, it's not like we need to buy ASAP, so onwards and upwards I suppose...
I also wasn't that impressed with the estate agent - granted there was another guy with us who was on a second viewing, but he didn't seem very keen to 'sell' the property to us and left us to essentially look round for ourselves. Is that usual? Or are we expecting too much and anything other than 'here's the details, now go look at it' is a bonus? I don't really want to get on a bad footing as that agency seems to have a monopoly on houses in one of the areas we're looking at but didn't know if this was the way it worked as I've never bought a house before!
Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
15 minutes...

Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extras...- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!

- HHI .. bit of a catch up!!
- Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
- Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again!

Frodders, I'm so sorry to hear of Mischief's passing.
Didn't even switch the netbook on yesterday, so I shall have a plethora of emails to wade through today. We did have a good day though; managed between us to finish off a megafrog that was held over from September; it would've been dealt with sooner, but Mr LW's sojourn in the horse-piddle put paid to my schedule, and since then, life seems to have got in the way of getting it finished.
Jessie went home yesterday morning; so post-frog, we went for a beer at our favourite pub. It's a game and a half getting the wheelchair in, but it's a nice welcoming place, so we continue to go there. And they allow dogs in the canal-side bar, so if we have a guest staying, it's an option.;)
Had a nasty shock when we looked out this morning and saw all the nasty white stuff out there; thankfully it seems to be melting now, though.
Last time I saw the consultant, he asked me to get a blood test done; Mr LW has managed to book an appointment for me, but it's not til 19th Feb, so I have a lovely long time to stress about it.:(
Onwards and upwards, I guess; we have wine in the fridge for tonight, as it's the Esbat (Full Moon).;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

After seeing what a mess mils paperwork was in I decided to tackle my own so the main box has been tidied and last years that was put into a smaller folder has been filed neatly away.
My thoughts are with the family of the Jordanian pilot, that is just barbaric and gruesome beyond words. I cried when it came on the news.SPC~12 ot 124
