  • Morning everyone, lots of paid stuff today, sigh. Also doctors appointment later this aft. I washed the kitchen floor last night just because it was so filthy!

We have had a light dusting of snow here, hope there wont be any more.

Well done on the bathroom Pigpen. My tiles could do with a good scrub but that might have to wait until next week.

Hello everyone. Thanks for the thread Natty.

So so day yesterday training for my voluntary job. The horse piddle rang and cancelled DH's operation for the 3rd time. It's now 26th Feb. DH forgot to take DS3 to his asthma check appointment. The little ones were excited about my birthday.

The plan for today is to do both lots of paid work. Then I'm heading up to L0ndon. DH is buying me dinner and a gift. I'm so tired I'd rather go to bed early!

I need to iron DD2 a school shirt.....
  • Morning

Well done on weight loss Bossy. I made free houmous last night ready for today - rather garlicky but tastes good!
Iona posi vibes for baby Anna.
Dusty - hope Mum continues to improve now she's at home.
Kaz hope your thumb is OK and you managed to get the spashback clean - I gave up on chip pans years ago as can't get afford to get burnt but chips never taste the same any other way really.

Plan for today is finish prepping free food for SW, vol job at class.

Do a Pigpen on the bathroom - though I may not use my loo brush to clean the tiles as I bought a new microfibre cleaning cloth this weekend!;)

Piggers - the ch shop at which I volunteer does collections so if you don't want to keep your donations around for 4 weeks they would be happy to collect - or are you collecting together to see how much you donate in one go?

Managed to clear one frog phone call yesterday so today hope to do two!!

Have a good day everyone. x

We had a good weekend away for my sister's birthday, but we were completely cream crackered when we got back. And yesterday was manic with work, voluntary job and Lifelong learning class in the evening..

    Hi all

I am in this week and hope to get loads done today as to have wait in for 2 workmen, quite pleased that I managed to get both booked on the same day and it doesn't even matter if they are here at the same time as one is in the lounge and one in the garden :)

Our sofas are not quite a year old and the leather is peeling so they are coming to look at them. I think they will try to repair, but I will quote sale of goods act, fit for purpose etc, etc, etc......... thank you Martin :money:

Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this. Our PC is dead, its got more viruses than experienced during The Plague, just need to start it up and try to clear hard drive, otherwise remove hard drive and put a nail through it to stop anything being useable by dodgy people
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! (the proper bins not the rooms that look like bins!) Done Sunday, ready for bins Monday
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it..or just burn it!
    Extras..
Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.
clean the radiators in these rooms
Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
Replace sponges/flannels/toothbrushes that are in need

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    30 minutes to spare...
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean fridge and see what needs using first (why do I have 4 jars of cranberry sauce in mine?)
    Extras...
HHI .. bit of a catch up x many
Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
    February Meal Plan

A friend is coming over later for me to verify her passport application photos, whilst looking for mine realised that I had not posted DH's application last October. It must have got put away when I was at my worst with BD, so that's two things to sort, especially as we are hoping to go away for a week in May. at myself, but :j that friend asked otherwise might not have realised.

    Have a good day all
Stay safe those who have snow

    Gilly x
  • Trying to snow again here, just heading out.
I've decluttered the boys floors, there's a huge pile on the landing that will be binned once they've had the chance to retrieve needed items from it.
    See you later.

Oh meant to say glad your mums home dusty, I hope she's comfortable and making a good recovery.

I can't get in the bath to reach the higher tiles with a cloth.. so, I mop the tiles and then rinse with the shower and then scrub the soapy marks off the lower tiles with the loo brush.. it is very effective and saves loads of effort.. I need to mop the ceiling too but my hands couldn't cope at the moment so it will have to wait, I do need to scrape off loose paint up there and repaint the entire bathroom.. hhhmm.... I have the paint already... Oh Mr Piggers.. ;)

Chazzer stuff I have a friend who is manageress at BHF CS and she arranges collections, tells me a day and I race about trying to get loads together.. last time she told the collection guy there was 'a couple of bags' so he was expecting carriers.. not 9 binbags and a large box!

Dentist for OH later.. must wash nest.. it is vile, I couldn't do it over the weekend with a lurky migraine type thing.. and yesterday I didn't get chance.. had to go out with a hat on ;) so it is a bit desperado!

I have... waved goodbye to my slippers :( They gave up their innards and I nearly broke my usher falling over it.. so I have new ones which are depressing me.. :/

Cuppa then.. hair wash and bath smalls and get appliances on.. gammon in SC and then opticians..

Oh!, I needed to make Tiddles another dentist appointment.. I'll do that in a second once I've rang school to tell them splurky lurky in the back room has been barfing! ... just gross and no need!
