Mrs MP biggest hugs in the world my friend. Worrying is a personality trait, I'd not say an illness, people who don't worry can't understand those who do. DH jokes about mine and will say oh is this another parking space problem (family joke about me getting in a tissy about there being no spaces left to park at the beach one day), I accept he doesn't get it and can laugh at myself now. My mother is also alternating between rude and weepy, with her hearing going that doesn't help either. I'm finding the caring tough too, especially as Mum never put herself out for her Mum, Step Dad or MiL when they were all older and ill. Off load to us, I will always listen.

WM on, more poo and sick cleaned up, both of them are at it which will make starving them so much easier. They are running about.

Mrs MP.. I spent many years being told there was something wrong with me because I don't worry over stuff.. I don't find it achieves anything, I'd rather take action or ride it out.. I know I don't understand worriers but it doesn't make them wrong either, we are just different. It will all come right in the end.. stay strong xxx

DW on .. emptied so there are spoons in the drawer .. the drawer is on top of the microwave but hey-ho.. there is a step if you can't reach!

Hugs sticks spoons and vibes to all. :D

Flying is minimal here as I spent yesterday out and about running errands. Today I've got more to run! Had a sort out of some of my clothes last night, added some to the sell pile, and dug out some from storage which now fit again :D Still quite a few bits don't fit properly but they fit much better than they did! Reluctant to buy more clothes for the moment as I'm on the cusp of dropping a dress size but I really do need a blooming good proper sort out so I'm going to do that now while my bath runs! :D Then I'm off to the doctors for my appointment with the health trainer then going to MrC to see if I can find any bargains since I have a voucher for money off which expires today;)

House is still looking good so I'll have a quick blast through later as I have paid stuff tomorrow all day and I have plans for Friday as well, weather permitting! Just some washing, a very small ironing pile and vacuuming that really needs doing :D Right best shift myself or I'll end up late

Sorry, That made me smile, DD2 has got quite a bump on her now so is finding sleep difficult, she said she'll be glad when baby is here so she can get back too having a good nights sleep again, me her Dad and her fella all fell about laughing. She already has his two little ones to look after so has done toddler with him but not baby. She is young but she WILL learn. You never get a decent night sleep once you've got kids the broken sleep in pregnancy is too get you used to it.;)
I hope you manage to get some rest or even sleep soon pigpen, can't you get your head down for a bit while she's still dozing

Found the key to the safe :j so I can now stop fretting the batteries will die and the passports and birth certificates will be locked away forever! See told you I worry about daft things that one has kept me tossing and turning for weeks:o

Shredder has died again so I'm going to have a quick coffee any takers:coffee:
Oh got one off the frog list last night I've booked our anniversary break sheringham again, lovely young lady I spoke to on the phone was really chatty and after discussing previous rooms stays etc we'd had there said Shed send us a confirming email but not give us a price as the owner would be bound to do us a deal as we are regulars.

[/COLOR]Morning all. Well the gym is paying off, I have lost 7cm in a month! I have a job interview for theatres at work  which will mean going on to days. I have also applied for ITU. I think I want theatre because the shifts are much more lifestyle friendly compared to anything I have done before. We'll see.
We have also got another puppy. He's a 16 week old cocker spaniel. We are fostering him at the moment for 2 weeks but his owner has decided she will sell him. She had no idea how much hard work puppies are and then hurt her back to the point where she is bed bound so can't walk him to tire him out. She's done no training either so I have a big job persuading DH he can be trained and Lily won't eat him in 2 weeks! I expect we'll be keeping him though. At present, I have Lily asleep next to me and he's asleep in the crate.
I have a whole mountain of ironing to do so will start with that while the puppies are sleeping :)

I am here, just pottering about :o I've been poorly over the weekend and feel totally drained, no energy at all. Mr O&O says it's flu, but I have no cold symptoms. Now the sickness has stopped I'm just tired and have a headache which won't go.
I had to take the car to be mot'ed on Monday, it failed :( approximately £360 to make it better
Had the back to work woman yesterday, took my mum as backup and the woman was surprisingly nice, wonder why? She finally said I wasn't ready for working but I have to keep seeing her or they'll stop my money. I'd still like to know why she keeps emailing me links to jobs I either can't do/ have no experience in, ever! Or are stupid amounts of hours or is stupid places, traveling miles for 4 hours work. I've just been reading todays list to my mum over the phone, which included a job for 7 1/2 hours a week at the Mr. T's where ex husband does his shopping!! Does the woman never listen?!

I've loaded the DW, just put 3rd load in WM, emptied the airer, put some bits away, swept the kitchen floor, sat on my bum, ate some toast and called my mum.
Pigpen - I'll swap your clothes folding for my floors? I hate floors, mopping or hoovering. I even brought a steam cleaner, I still hate doing them.
I'm going to strip my bed next and maybe hoover and dust my room
  • Afternoon all! It's been a while since I've been on this thread, but as we've taken the scary leap of buying our first home I feel like I should make a serious effort to be house proud (or at least LOOK like it for when PILs come round).

Will do my best to keep up with the list (although I realise we're now half-way through the week) this week but it may all be pointless as we start decorating this weekend!

Thanks to OP for posting the list!
Hugs and spoons all round xxx
