Hi all.hoping to join back in by beginning of March..I currently have a sick note from Pigpen due to having a huge Fibro flare and falling in the bathroom sustaining a broken rib and cracked coxyx.

Have been persuading Teens to help a lot..OH had a week off as the medication they gave me made me very sick..I cannot tolerate morphine except by IV but doctor insisted he knew best so weaned myself off that and am managing with copious paracetomol and hot baths...

Hav managed to keep up with laundry although have used TD more than I would like...not too bad as OH managed to get a better deal on our gas/elec ,dropping by almost £20 a month.

Hope everyone os ok as only have the attention span to skim thread so hugs, sticks and spoons al round, meanwhile back to lurkdom for a while xxx

  • Morning everyone

Just checking in quickly, very busy with paid stuff so I am not getting much of anything done this week but I am trying to keep on top of the basics. OH is off work because of the weather so he is busy with DIY in the kitchen (making a mess). Hopefully next week will be better!

Mumof5, major OUCH I should think you have got a sick note, that must have caused serious pain! Hope you are feeling better and 100% recovered very soon.
Narco the freezer plan sounds brilliant very useful and time saving.
Show was brilliant last night all the cast were fantastic, the boy who played Oliver had just the right waver in his voice, Nancy played her part fantastically and as for Fagin he is going to end up on Broadway or at least shows in theatres somewhere.i remember him from primary and every show he's done he's made the part his own. the scene where Sykes hit Nancy and threw her to the floor was so realistic then she got up and sang as long as he needs me with raw emotion while clutching her side and wringing her hands. I don't think the was a dry eye in the hall when she finished It was a high school performance but the best I've seen yet!
It was lovely to see Sykes bring Nancy out with them both giggling to each other for the final bows
Back round mils this morning to sort her paperwork and try to get some sort of order to it or at least file it in a place that she knows what she's got a where it is.
Hugs posi vibes sticks and spoons to all who need them, going to go and rally the boys now then make a start.

Managed to speak to DS last night and woot woot - he is actually "popping" home for two nights very soon - first time since Xmas 13. He has tons of leave to use before end March.

Brilliant news about your DS getting home for a visit soon JTTOU, hope you get some job news soon.

I keep forgetting to say I'm still not sure who my fly lady secret Santa was but the amaryllis is sprouting up and I've got a nice big green shot appearing, thank you again whoever you are.

    Morning all

Mrs MP thanks for the play review, brought a smile to my face

Mummyy5 - healing vibes for you sweetie

JTTOU lovely that he can visit

Good news is kittens are better and loved the fish and rice.

Bad news is that Mum is not well, told sis to call an amulance and she is on her way in also WM has just gone bang and blown the electrics.

Waiting for an update from sis before heading up to the hospital as the traffic will be bad still especially as we had snow through the rush hour.

Yin yoga is now being missed, cancelled friend for this afternoon and DS3's cricket bag is not at school, may still be able to do this later.

I think I need a cuppa and to remove the kitten from my lap now.

Wm and dw are both on. I have tidied the worst clutter from the hallway, heard ds1 finish his school book and tidied the breakfast table. Ten more minutes and I will make a start!
