    Morning all
    Welcome Rachelle & Scubaleopard.
    Hugs to PP.
    Congratulations Jockette.
Hugs to Meanmarie's DD, it took me 9 pregnancies to get 4 kids & I also had an ectopic.
I've taken hubby to the station, I hope he's talking to me by the time he gets home. I cut his hair yesterday & forgot to put the number 4 guide on, so he now has a shaved head!!!!
WM is on with 2nd load, 1st lot is on the line.
I have 3 or 4 items being watched on ebay which is sometimes a good sign.
I hope everyone has a good day

Cereal and banana for breakfast, and sausage casserole in the slow cooker for dinner.

Nothing exciting to report, except that the sun is shining again :T

    Have a good day everyone

Penny, Kim and Aggie did something with nets which just involved putting them in a bowl, folded up, and let them soak - I just can't remember what they have to be soaked in, sorry :D

Morning everyone, hiya to all the newbies.

    Congratulation Jockette thats fantastic news!!
Hope everyone else is well, hiya to grannybroon it was nice to hear from you yesterday was wondering where you had been (())

Well i was very silly yesterday and inbetween the ironing and other jobs over did the sun and now have legs a lobster would love!!!! Was in complete agony last night but used some `magic` spray i got whilst in florida which has taken the pain away just not the lobster legs!!
But lesson learnt and i wont be siting out in it again today have a list of jobs to do and my sister is poping over to see the kids.
First job is underway-clean the oven arhhhhhhh i hate this job but it has been sprayed and will go and finish it off after posting.
Then i am going to tackle kitchen floor, it is a mess it is a large floor 23ft x 10ft and with 4 kids water fights and running in and out with no shoes on after running through the soil that they are not ment to go on its flipping filthy. Have some hard surface cleaner dh aquired when he worked as a caretaker so hoping that will bring it up nicely!!!
Only one basket of ironing left, cases almost packed for this weekend, all direct debits left bank this morning so now know what i have left to play with for the hoilday. Really looking forward to it, dh just cant wait to try out his mums new Temper matresses!!!!

    Have a wonderfull day everyone

Good morning to everyone ,it's the third day in a row that the sun has shone so I think it looks like the summer has finally arrived ,even though next month the children will all be back at school then the Christmas cards arrive in the shops:eek: where has this year disappeared to .

Welcome to Rachelle and Scubaleopard, I am sure you will enjoy being part of 'This Happy Breed' ( that dates me no end, as it was a very old movie when I was a little girl).

Congratulations jockettuk :A I was a change of life baby and my Mum was 45 when I was born, and originally been told that she had a 'growth' in her stomach a month before I was born a monnth premature courtesy of the Luftwaffe and a large bomb landing opposite our house. Well I am still here years later and I don't think my Mum would have changed things even though I was more than a bit of a surprise to her as well. There is nothing like a baby to keep you on young and I'm sure everyone will spoil him/her dreadfully.
beware scubaleopard this forum is very addictive:eek: and welcome to you:beer:
Well I took four of the grandchildren to the movies last night and they all enjoyed seeing The Simpsons I had never watched it on T.V. so I was quite amused by the clever mix of 'grown-ups' humour and the slapstick for the children .one of my grandsons Henry is 6 and has a really hearty laugh and the rest of us were all laughing at him rolling around in hysterics at the antics of Homer. A good evening was enjoyed by us all.
I have the builders coming this nmorning to demolish my old wooden conservatory, I can't wait to see the back of it as it has been slowly devoured by what we used to call 'cheesybugs (wood-louse)There seems to be millions of the little perishers in there .But it is completely wooden and well over-due to be pulled down
Then tomorrow they start to erect my nice new one, so when I come home from the hospital I can sit there and put my feet up and get through my reading list from Uni.although I will be taking a year out I am still going to try to get through my list as there is nowt wrong with my head ,only my beastly breast. I had the results of my CT scan yesterday also my bone scan and so far touch wood (swiftly bashes head) the cancer doesn't appear to have spread .So I am on a high at the moment :j Roll on next week and get the op. out of the way then I can start to recover hopefully (bashes head again ,just in case).
well time I got a wriggle on or the builders will find yours truly still in my nightie  poor souls I don't think they could handle it and they might leg it .Take care all and <<hugs to those in need>>and big smiley faces to the rest of you :p
  • Congratulations jockettuk :j I would love to have a surprise baby, I think. I'm 43 and my son left home last year - I really miss having small people around.

Hello to scubaleopard - you too will be unable to start your day without checking what everyone else is up to!

Just about to have breakfast with DH in the garden then going to have to make a plan for the day - it's sugarfree day 1, so I'm bracing myself... I'm such a sugar addict that it will be hard, but I reckon it's time I dealt with this issue. I think I'll take it relatively easy today, just minimal housework and some reading for my course (the most boring book in the universe is our pre-course set text - just the thing to put us off, I would have thought!)

Have a good day everyone, and hope the sun is shining.

    Hi,

    Congratulations Jockettuk !!

    Welcome Scubaleopard xx

Just a quickie from me as am running a bit late. I've got w*rk today - boss isnt in all week so have sorted out my paperwork out and am taking it in to sort it out.

My tenants have given 2 months notice from last Thurs so need to look at getting new tenants.

OS wise I have offered to make my brothers wedding cake LOL!!!! I have never made one but have a rough idea of what I'm doing. However I need to get good cheap cake trays to make the tiers in (pref the spring 1 or detachable base) in 6", 8" and 10". I went round local stores yesterday but no joy. IfI can find them I will do a dummy run.

Does any1 else have problems typing coz their children just won't stop talking?

Hope every1 has a great day - I'm off to do lunch boxes and hang washing out coz WE HAVE SUNSHINE IN BRUM!!!

    Luv Jxx
