I like it home made because i can adjust the spices to suit me.
I make a lot of hummus too, literally takes seconds in the food processor. You wont buy shop bought again once you make it from scratch, and its so much cheaper too.
Just chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic. Process until smooth.
It sounds shockingly simple.

They can be frozen too, so if you wanted to make a big batch and just defrost as needed.
