Rope - as in the Alfred Hitchcock film.

I would LOVE to go to the ballet! What are you going to see?
  • I love Netflix, and binge watched the whole of Breaking Bad. Yes, cliche I know. And the spinoff has just started :j

Ooops, just realised I missed the last page of chat before I wrote this!
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Edward Scissorhands - a Matthew Bourne one. I'm keeping an open mind as I've not seen the film so am not entirely sure what to expect, but I liked his Swan Lake and Nutcracker so it should be ok.
Thing is, I do like to get decent tickets, not the cheap ones at the back, so I don't go as often as I used to which makes it all the more important to get my money's worth!

Hello to onomatopiea (with apologies for any dodgy spellings.)

    Yep and OH.
    Just tired.
MIL'S care hadn't been sorted out, we weren't told about the discharge, they've all left her. OH is in a foul mood. I just give up.
  • Just been hit by a massive wave of 'I can't do it'.
Feel like I am only just holding it together although really don't want to take a step backwards as I have done so well this past year. I know the trigger but unfortunately can't talk about it or avoid it.
And Little Sod is unwell which always throws me in to a panic.
    Yuck

Melly, are you smoothie-ing? Can you try to get a good night's sleep to recharge? It's not your responsibility to sort it all out, especially if you're being cut out of the equation.
(And the bottom line if all else fails is for MIL to phone 999. Not a route I'd normally recommend but if she needs urgent help and isn't getting it..)

Katy721, LS will most likely be fine. They know how to lay the poorly pooch act on with a trowel. Do you have any coping or fall back mechanisms for your trigger that you can concentrate on for a bit?

I managed half of a raspberry blueberry and strawberry smoothie this morning.
I am going to try and sleep OH is over there, we had a row before he went
  • He will be fine, I know. I just panic as it was this time of year my previous dog got terminally ill.
No coping mechanisms really. I started therapy a while back to help me develop more constructive ones than the ones I had been using but then I got put on medication and so the therapy stopped. Not on medication now due to being pregnant, so that plus hormones is not too great!
