Bluntly - if he's morbidly obese he'll already have a variety of health problems, which he may not mention to you or be unable to notice himself. eg http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/fatty-liver-disease/Pages/Introduction.aspx
Does he snore? Does he appear to gasp for breath in his sleep?

Just read your rant Tea and ... ewww! That's just so wrong, . I've been throwing up drunk a few times, mostly at university and then on 31st Dec 1999 (combination of ample opportunity and having lived through six months of massive personal stress meant I didn't heed the "had too much" warning signs and was very, very ill the next day, and the day after), but never to the point where soiling myself would have happened. After that last experience I decided I was never going to get into that state again, and so far have managed it - although it's very infrequent that I drink so much I couldn't legally drive, never mind being properly drunk.

    So, has he gone yet?

I have been regularly taking wellwoman pills or the equivalent. That helps me keep up with the healthier eating and exercise. That said, I am trying to encourage DH to do the same and he is not as enthusiastic as me.

The big thing with me is to not get put off if I miss days etc with anything I am attempting. I have to just let it go, let it goooo! (I feel a song coming on)

Just done that BMI chart for him, and maybe I was abit harsh calling him morbidly obese (it came out as obese), the weight is mostly on his stomach, chest and face, the rest of him is still actually quite slim.

Yes, he does snore (but if I remember rightly, I'm sure he always has?), and he does gasp for breath and wake himself up. I know it scares him sometimes, and I have mentioned sleep apnoea.

Anyhow, it's been a real eye opener reading all the replies, thanks all. :)

I hope tea is ok. FOH has been acting very strangely and I'm worried for her.

Sorry I haven't been around much guys, very much struggling with my MH and not had any oomph to spare for writing posts. Lots of hugs, stick, spoons and handshakes all round
