Waves_and_Smiles wrote: »I am on holiday for 10 days due to a very generous friend! Neither WaSp nor I have had a holiday in years, not even a night away anywhere. Being near the sea is perfect for me, it is my favourite place to be! I aim to buy a stick of rock, I haven't had one since I was a child. I want candy floss, too! I might even buy a bucket and spade...
It's my favourite place too!The crashing of the waves, the beach combing, and of course the sea air is good for you too!

Hello, just a quick check in as in the middle of colouring my hair and I can feel it start to drip down my neck!
FOH not gone. Stayed at his for one night then was back at 8am with flowers, apologies, promises of undying love etc. Am not buying it!
We've called a truce for now (as I can't really do anything else) so he's still here. Once I get the go ahead from solicitor he is going though. He thinks he isn't, but he really is! Don't know what else I can say to get the point across. The promises were almost funny though (in a 'you have to laugh' way). So far I've been offered a kitchen extension, holidays and more IVF!!
He's getting really desperate now isn't he? Too little too late though.
He won't turn nasty will he tea?0 -

Sorry -that made me :rotfl: Tell him you want to see the colour of his money first:D
Any chance of you moving a platonic bloke friend in ? That might give him a reality check;).....................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Not nasty, just pathetic (don't mean that in a horrible way, genuinely feel sorry for him).0

evening my lovelies.
I can see that some people are having a tough time. I hope that you get a goods night sleep.
sadly I did not about 4 and half hrs  not sure why as I slept 8 hrs the night before. I was shattered from working in the garden too. Just could not nod off.
anyway had a nice juicy steak for lunch and a vodak and coke it was lush
And spent 3 hrs in the garden this afternoon/evening. Not sure I have made any progress but never mind. I will get there mostly my own work.
My green bin is ram jam packed for its last collection. And a big pile of green waste in the middle of the grass to be taken to the tip. But its all spiky and will hurt LOL!!!!
I am have showered and washed my hair. but can feel myself getting more and more tired. So might think about going to bed in a min
Anyway I hope everyone gets the rest they need and deserve. me included :rotfl:
Yours

Oh dear oh dear. He really doesn't want to be on his own, does he?
In actual fact, it will probably do him a lot of good, and make him appreciate all sorts of things more.
Out of interest, do you know how he is with his mum? Ie. does/did he take her for granted or be waited on hand and foot by her?
One thing, though, Tea, you may have to face the fact that, if he's one of those men who really can so not hack being on their own, that he may, after an indecently short interval, find someone else. That might partly be to get at you, too, as much as finding someone else to 'look after' him. How do feel about that? If you feel bad, remember the awful realisation of waking up in that bed in that state, ditto bathroom.(I just lurve spiders!)

How did you feel about this, melly? Personally I would really like it - I do like it when professionals act like normal people and show their feelings! And this does show that s/he really cares.
Seriously, though, TIA's are not to be ignored. How long since you had anything proper to eat? Even a smoothie with some proper full fat Greek yoghurt would help, if you can't face anything else.....
WaS - is it tomorrow you leave? You must be feeling very excited. And will you be meeting WaSP's friend? Sounds such a lovely person, you must be looking forward to that too, in a sort of way, if you can manage it!
tea - hang on in there. It must be painful to be offered IVF again, but you can't consider having a child with an alcoholic partner who needs so much attention, apart from anything else!!!! (For your own mental health, I mean - that sentence looks horribly preachy but YKWIM, I am just trying to look out for you.)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
With TIAs, I always thought that unless tests were done while the TIA was in progress, nothing would show up.
Unless tests have changed since I last looked.(I just lurve spiders!)
