well a couple of small victories this late in the day:beer::j
I have got out of bed the first time proper since monday night. had a shower and washed my hair. Which is disgusting as I started my period yesterday morning. Dressed in proper clothes and not just scruffs.
Opened the bedroom window wide and pulled the duvet down so that I can air the bed before I get back in it later.
I am now down stairs cooking something to eat. As all I have had all day is a couple of tablespoons of mixed berries and greek yogurt LOL!!!
Oh well not been hungry and I got 3 stone to lose :rotfl:
Back door is open letting in some fresh air and sunshine. And listening to absolute 80's. I do remember all the songs as from my time as a teen.
Will I tell you about one of the first tapes I got from my parents LOL!! Not sure:o

Yeah, have tried everything!0

Tea citrus peel such as oranges kind of works. At least it's stopped the cats the past two night pooing in the plant pots and digging plants up.“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. Right bed time. I hope everyone gets the rest and sleep that they need tonight.
Seems someone I know is in real crisis. Not sure I can help but just say I am here if you want to talk.
I had to explain a few things to them. Including they way they talk to me. I said I don't care how messed you are up that is no excuse to talk to me like that. And you really have no idea do you why I don't work. I have had to raid my savings etc to keep a float. And even when I have not been well I have tried to support you and all you have done is treated me badly.
In 3 different texts they said sorry which is a first for them.
Shall see how it goes. Going to talk to them on saturday and see how they are doing. They came out of a bad relationship about 2 and half years ago and don't seem to have moved forward.
And of course its a long weekend!!!! And not sure if they are going to work as they said they could not face it. Which is major a low for them.
One bit of good news I am off to see my nephews tomorrow afternoon :j They are so funny and cute they are 2 and 3. need to find some coins to take with me so they can put them in there money boxes. I reckon I will be going to them to borrow money from them when they older :rotfl:
Everyone take care.
Good night

Just popping in briefly to say hi to all, and welcome to NCIS. Mr JM has been through problems with GPs as well, and was accused of being addicted to painkillers in the National Hospital (for Neuro) - they are usually lovely there but he got a bad one, I think. They thought painkillers were causing his cluster headaches, and wanted him to stop them all together. In fact he takes hardly, especially considering the fact that he's in (mostly neuro) pain all the time.
Anyway, the good news is that they saw sense, and also that his headaches are generally a lot better nowadays. The bad news is that he still doesn't have a GP who takes any interest, so no-one is co-ordinating his care at all any moreEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Wait, Mr JM has cluster headaches, too? Is he taking the nasal spray, JM? It has really helped me. I still have to take pain medication until it works because they are agonisingly painful but they really shrink the duration if them. So sorry Mr JM had to go through that with the hospital, it's similar to what I went through with the duty doctor who saw the amount of opiates I take and refused to sign the prescription until he spoke to my GP. If Mr JM can take the minimum then he should continue doing that, as I have said before I admit I am addicted but I have no other option because I can't take ibuprofen or aspirin based pain meds and paracetamol on its own does nothing. Hugs to you and Mr JM.
Welcome NCIS! What would you like to be called, I don't want to offend you! You have really been through a lot, moving worries are the last thing you needed too. I am with you on the stairs, I live on the first floor and go up and down them on my bottom, too. My hips and knee's won't support me plus I have a balance disorder which means stepping up things makes me very dizzy, even kerbs in the road.
I am so sorry that you don't have a full diagnosis yet, frustrating isn't it? I had every symptom of Lupus when I was 24, even down to the butterfly rash on my face but the tests came back clear. I was tested a further 5 times over the years because I looked liked a textbook case until 11 years later the sixth test finally tested positive. Apparently it is a condition that sometimes doesn't show up in blood tests but at the same time no one will treat it until it does. I had a friend with Lupus who belonged to many support groups who used to burst out laughing at me because she had never known anyone with such obvious symptoms of it before, it still took 11 years to show. I am so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain, I know how wearing that can be.
AFM the stabbing pain in my right side is still there. It woke up frequently throughout the night and it seemed to lock me in a position at one point. Lying down is definitely worse which would imply it's referred pain from my spine as my GP suspects, that doesn't help me though.
