By the way, Georgie, I think you're being a lovely daughter to your mum.
You've said before that you aren't as close to her as to your Dad, and you're obviously very different types of people, but you really are showing a wonderful understanding and empathy.:A

How are you feeling today after last nights Am Dram Pyxis?
Am relieve it's sorted, though I'm fretting that I wasn't really wanted, that they found me too 'odd' to work with, and are glad I've left!
It is a great weight off my mind though, as I did find it very frustrating, and often dreaded going to practices, so that says a lot!
JM....I'm passive aggressive wimp personified! Which is why I got so worked up! Made worse by having to wait two days to sort it!(I just lurve spiders!)

Awww thanks Hun! That's just brought a tear to my eyes....but in a good way!
Yes, she can be a difficult person sometimes, but she has got a good heart. She's more like my gran (her Mum) than she'd ever admit, she has a very sharp tongue and isn't afraid to speak her mind....let's put it like that!
Anyhow, off to get ready now. Hope everyone has a nice relaxing day, or enjoys a nice walk, or whatever you're planning!0 -
Morning my lovelies,
Sorry to hear that people are struggling with sleep as well during the day.
Talking of putting stuff where it does not normally belong. My husband was classic for doing that after his stroke. He once went in to town with the home cordless phone in his pocket :rotfl: And I was always finding strange stuff in the fridge.
In his own place in his cutlery drawer he has his postal voting card in it as well other weird stuff LOL!!!
well done white wing on the weight loss. That nearly 2 stone in weight. I keep gaining and losing the same half a stone. But trying to clean eat. about 3 weeks ago I gained 5lbs in one week :eek:have now lost it. So now XXst and 7lbs. Would prefer a single digit at the front. About 3 years ago I lost a lot of weight due to the stress of my marriage break up. Lived on sandwiches and well know brand of light yogurt. And lost 2 and half stone. I did allow a stone and half to creep back on
Have being trying to clean eat as much as possible. I feed my husband the banana and peanut butter mock ice cream. He loved it and ate loads of it.
Mind you was a silly billy and when washing up the blades from the mixer cut my finger. Used it twice and cut my finger twicenot a happy bunny LOL!!!!!
Right going to have a lazy day. Cook some lunch later and then veg out in front of the laptop and watch castle. Got a bit of a thing about him now LOL!!!!!
In case I don't catch you later. Everyone have a good day as you possible can. If you have sunshine try and bask in to even if only for a minute or two.
First job after finishing my breakfast is to finish the washing up:mad: thats the problem when you eat is the washing up. I keep thinking about paper plates and plastic cutlery so I can chuck it all away :rotfl:
Oops sorry for the essay.
Take care everyone.
Yours

If you already have seen a lovely necklace then yes get it. I only said no because I felt it wasn't necessary to stress yourself out over trying to sort something out.

I am attempting to NVQ again. The written work is going well, I am struggling with the observations. In part because I need to phone people with my line manager listening to talk through their options with them. And I am finding that although people are agreeing when I ask them, when it comes to it they're not answering the phone. I can understand why - I'm a bit phone avoidance myself at times - but it's not helping my evidence gathering! All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

That's a real pain, elsien! Just a thought - if you are ringing mobiles, it might be worth trialling sending texts before you ring - remind the client you are ringing at 2pm to talk through their options about x. It seems to increase NHS compliance when people are reminded about appointments, so might be worth a try?
On my phone (Voda) I understand you can suppress your number (when texting) by dialling 141 as you do with a landline. You may not need to do this if you have a work phone, however.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Tried that yesterday. Got a text back saying fine, then still no answer. I probably just caught someone at a bad time, but from a purely selfish point of view it was a pain as the call would have ticked an awful lot of boxes.
The problem is my line manager working out of two offices plus also being an advocate - we don't cross paths that often so trying to tie that in with partner availability is not easy. (Plus an organisation that won't pay for assessor visits, but that's another story.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
