But i understand farming is a living and you can;t get all attached and sentimental when it could be the difference between keeping a roof over your head or food on the table.
Funny thing is that most people think you are rich if you are farmer.
You might be asset rich but cash poor. I don't remember as a child living the high life LOL!!!!

You made me laugh, talking about the grammar police! I can forgive you anything at the moment!
Actually, there wasn't anything to forgive!
(Only a small gap, which doesn't count as spelling or grammar!)

Talking of baby animals and markets, I always remember going to a farm open day and feeding some tiny lambs. On hearing that they'd end up as lamb chops, our initial,"oh no", turned to acceptance when the farmer's wife told us not to worry, as they don't go until they're several months old, by which time that are hulking great thugs! Still 'lambs', technically, but like unruly, belligerent teenagers. I quite happily ate my lamb chops after that!
The good thing about lamb is that it's a true free range meat.
Thank you Geminilady. Hugs are good!

bed is my safe place too.
But I am trying to wean myself off it. One thing that helps is once I get up. I air the bed for a short while and then make it properly with top cover and cushions and my toy dog that I sleep with.
yes I sleep with a teddy :rotfl:and I am 42 nearly 43

I was going out with a farmers son at a time when I was vegetarian (didn't go down too well I can tell ya!), but bacon is the one thing that turned me back on to being a meat eater again, I missed bacon sarnies!0
