WaS - please be extremely careful with game of thrones, i find it extremely triggering due to a variety of causes. Cruelty and the casualness of the violence, all types of violence, being the main ones. It might be fine, but I found a single episode fairly traumatic and really wouldn't recommend it at all for those of us with similar triggers.
I also tend to be emotionally affected by TV I watch, books and radio aren't as bad. But TV is often very unpleasant over the last few years.:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -

That sounded hopeful, but I don't meet any of their criteria - I'm on ESA but it is Contributions based.0 -
I'd also advise against GoT WaS. Personally, I love it, but it's very violent, borderline soft !!!!!! at times, there's sexual violence, scheming and characters are brutally murdered all the time.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I don't think people realise quite how infectious moods are and how negativity can drag a whole room down. I'm not a happy positive person at the best of times but I do try.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Morning Team WaS. DA dog is feeling poorly today so I feel very bad for leaving him. I need a nap.
Hugs, handshakes, waves and rainbow cakes to everyone.
Those boil squeezing videos are strangely addictive actually! :rotfl: DH is always getting weird videos off Facebook and someone posted one of them once, and then of course once you've watched one, you've got to watch another one!
I don't mind blood and gore either. I actually like watching operations, I find it really interesting. I don't go searching for them I hasten to add, just like watching them on medical programmes etc.
I don't think I have ever had a rainbow cake....really fancy one now though!0 -

It really does, you are totally correct on that. My DH is in a grump today, I started off in an ok mood, but his mood is now starting to really annoy me, it definetly has a negative effect.
I know people say that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but sometimes there is totally a place for it.
You should say "Is there something bothering you *insert name*? You'd never have guessed!"0 -

Google to see which of your local opticians offer a visiting service, I presume they need portable equipment so not all will be able to.
You or someone else give them a ring and ask if they have flexibility. Explain the situation. Maybe if they were heading out to someone near you they might be able to drop in on you in the same journey, they are of course keen to do all they can to care for eye health.
Don't call = no chance of a home visit,
Call = chance of a home visit.
Good luck.Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0
