Georgie, I'm so pleased it went well. Now you have some lovely memories, and your Mum's happy about it too! Plus she achieved the climb, and I know you were concerned she wouldn't be able to do it. :A

Yes I was. Mainly because of her past health issues, but also because she was so worried about it herself. She wanted to do it because she'd have been devastated not to have been there and also because she felt that she would have been letting my Dad down. She said that if she hadn't have made it then she would never have forgiven herself.

    But she did....with ease! :)

Hope everyone is well. Just popping by to say hello as I haven't been around much recently. Finding this pregnancy thing harder than I expected, I was really hoping to enjoy it. Gone into hiding a little as it isn't easy pretending to be positive and blooming!

WaS, just to comment on your question about medication. I was put on medication as there were no NHS counselling services in my area at the time. More recently I was put on it whilst waiting for counseling which then didn't happen. I think it often is used as a substitute, but then I am thankful that there is a substitute if other therapy isn't available. Best of a bad situation sometimes.

Righty, off to hide again, take care everyone!

I think the process of counselling can be quite painful at times, and I was certainly encouraged to go onto medication to get me into a frame of mind that could help make the counselling more successful. I think it did really help.

I am requesting to halve my daily dose of anti depressants because I feel a lot better now I am taking regular nutrient supplements, eating slightly better and exercising.

(It is a colour run that I am doing georgie, but not the same one as you judging by the sponsorship amount. Sounds great fun). I ought too get on the treadmill really. Glad today went went. Love the cairn.

My own family....grrr..is all I can say.

    pops in briefly,

I've been trying to keep up but without success! My houseguests were here for a week and left today, I'm now so overtired I'm close to throwing up. Alternatively, I could be having a bad reaction to my codeine. Either way I feel pretty hellish and have a hosp app at 9.30 tomoz which I'll need to drive to.

Ah well, after that I can catch up sleep :)

I've also had some relationship stress over the last couple of days, and am really fighting to not assume guilt for someone else's mistakes. I'm trying to look on things atm as a learning experience for all sorts of things!

Lots of hugs, handshakes, smiles, sticks and spoons to all xx

    Thanks WW. :)

Yes, the colour run sounds fun! How long is yours? Ours is 5k. I'm really not a runner at all, I have asthma, and I can walk for miles on end without getting wheezy or needing my puffer, but running, I run a short way and I'm out of breath. I think I need to get training!

Thanks tea. :) It has given her a real lift yes, she seemed quite a bit cheerier when I saw her yesterday!

Too much happening here. Sprout-lady is in for a couple of hours to see my boss (who also isn't usually here). The dr that comes in once a fortnight is here, and I've also just met the temp I have to train next week.

V much looking forward to them all going away!
