I bought a fairy cake / muffin tin and cases on the way home from work tonight so, inspired by this topic, I'm going to try baking something over the bank holiday . If I don't spend all of it watching snooker on the telly.

Today did not turn out as I hoped for.

Been in bed almost all day. Not sure why. Did get up and go to the shop and buy some carp to eat. Was lazy and drove as well

I did order some threads to start on my next x-stitch project which is this. And that is for me all mine no one is getting there hands on that one. So that another £5 I can't afford LOL!!!!

    Tomorrow is another day :T

    That's a lovely design, Calley!
If it's any consolation, apart from going to get the eggs and baking the cake, I've done nothing all day. In fact, I felt so tired that an hour ago I went to bed and am typing this lying down, trying to keep my eyes open!

I know it's lush and the chart has been sat in a box for years. As I said I went right off any hobbies for years. And I really do enjoy stitching once I get back in to it. Just not sure why I keep putting things off like that. Now painting and decorating is another story LOL!!!!

I woke up at about 10.30 ish and now it's 7pm. did have a nap this afternoon :rotfl:Went out and got something to eat. I did get dress properly jeans and t-shirt LOL!!!!

Got 20 items listed on eBay, so fingers crossed some if not all will sell!

I wear glasses for distance, such as driving and sometimes for watching the tv. Because I only wear them some of the time, they tend to get thrown about here there and everywhere....well, I've just sat on them! They're proper wonky now! :rotfl:

Mmmm the cake looks fabulous! I like baking but it always takes me about 3 times longer than it 'should' and tends to be crispy on the outisde, raw on the inside! :o

I'm also autistic. :o It wasn't even diagnosed until about 6 years ago, I just accepted that I was odd. :p My DH put it in my head as I'm just all kinds of strange; obsessive over little things, like I can't just like something, I have to buy as many things as I can to do with it, research it to death, talk about it a lot etc. I'm not as bad as some, but definitely worse than many! I also struggle with eye contact - I force myself to do it because my Mum drummed it into me that it's rude to not look someone in the eye when you're talking to them, but it's blimmin hard work! I struggle with relationships a bit too, I tend to feel quite detached from people, even my close family. I was really worried about whether or not I'd love DS when he was born and I'll be honest, it took a few weeks to warm to him. Don't tell anyone that as it's awful, but it's how my brain works! :o There's a load more, but I'm sure I've bored you enough!
