Yes. I love lush. I've a 30 quid gift voucher that I need to get spending.

I also love superdrug. All their own brand products are cruelty free and their make up is v cheap. Hair colours are cheap and cruelty free as well

yes, I'm a fan of a Superdrug too. It's handy doing an online order because if you're a beauty card holder then you get free delivery ATM. I've never tried their hair colour as I use the John Frieda ones.

Allergic to Lush stuff. I only have to walk past the door and I start sneezing.

DH is always massively overwhelmed by the smells and refuses to set foot in their shops. Doesn't stop him using my stuff though, he especially seems to be a fan of the girly pink ones....hmmm!

I've tried some lovely superdrug hair colour too. Mine desperately needs doing again so might get some from there. They do have nice things, I had some lovely shower gel and body lotion before - thanks for the reminder :) I very rarely go into town (the town I live is is just rubbish) so tend to just get everything from supermarkets. Think I need to make time for a trip to town instead.

Our town is rubbish as well, full of charity shops and takeaways, and not much else. They spent millions doing up the harbour, which is lovely, but the let the town go to rack and ruin.

Ooh a harbour, how lovely! I loved it when I lived near the sea (during my uni years). I couldn't be further from the coast if I tried now.

    Eek - boss is here!

Ive got superdrug hair colour on just now. I needed my highlights done last Xmas and couldn't be bothered so in a rash 5 mins decided to go darker but was impressed with the colour. My local superdrug just closed. The one in the next town did as well so it's a 13 mile round trip now or home delivery.

I also really like their travel sized toiletries. Which I've bought recently as I go to Spain 4 weeks tomorrow.

    Ooo good luck! :)

Yes it is lovely, they've really done it up nice. We've got friends who have one of the flats that look right over the harbour. So when there's fireworks on or the festival, we get an awesome view of it all! My cousin has a boat in the marina (although I think it's currently up in Scotland?) which is also lovely to sit on on a warm day!

No, it's not. 250g. Recipe updated. Good luck, Pyxis, but it never fails for me (and I am not a conscientious cook!)

DH is always massively overwhelmed by the smells and refuses to set foot in their shops.

I'm with DH on this. I have asthma and those type of smells can set me off. I can't even go past The Body Shop without problems. :( I've got to take a detour. :( I'm lucky that with Lush because of where it is, I can actually avoid going past there.

I went into Lush some years ago (before I developed asthma and could cope there) and got mum some stuff for mothers day. I came out covered in glitter.:rotfl:

I am becoming seriously frustrated now. I have Autism and the main problem for me is that I have a serious issue with trying to explain what I really want. My friend is trying to organise a trip to France with me at the end of June. Whilst I can tell him that yes, I do want to go for the whole duration of the festival, ask me anything more, and I can't explain what I mean. :( He, thankfully for me, did teach English and Communication at A Level and does seem to understand what I really want. But the whole thing is so bloody frustrating.

  • I have asthma, but luckily Lush doesn't seem to set me off. Which is strange really, as highly scented things do seem to. I lit a couple of Glade candles one Christmas, and ended up in hospital on Christmas Day having an asthma attack. :(

Right, brought stuff down to put on eBay, off to take photos of them now. I must have been inspired by all the talk of tidying!
