I look younger than I am. Am 36 but on the rare occasions I drink I get asked for ID lol. Reckon it's the one plus side of hormonal acne...my skin gets well looked after. If I ever end up with lines and spots I'll be really unimpressed!0

I tan quite easily but hate sitting in the hot sun, never do it, although half an hour in the garden on a day like today is enjoyable
I never use sunblock but have moisturised since I was a teenager and have very few lines for my age.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
There are some Big Issue sellers a couple of minutes walk away, one Wasp has spoken to before when he gave him the change for a bus to get to a homeless hostel for the night. He hadn't been able to sell any papers that day so had no money for travel or food and he only asked for exactly what he was short of, 11p. A lot of people don't realise that the sellers have to buy the papers (for a cheaper price than sell them for) in advance, if they don't sell them they have lost their money.
Later on this week I plan on going out without a blanket again. I want to buy several copies of the paper from the man and give him some food and drink to keep him going while he stands there, if his friend is there I will do the same for him. I wouldn't just give them the money because somehow that feels demeaning to me, they are supplying a service and I am a customer paying for it, as I would to anyone I respected who was offering an item for sale. I want to recognise that they are working and that I am willing to enter into a transaction with them for a product, that feels right. I want them to be as equal to me as I would treat any other vendor.
It could be me in another life, I was lucky enough to have a support network when things were really bad but I could have easily become one of the mentally unwell, homeless people living on the streets and I want to acknowledge that. This will encourage me to go out more than anything else I can think of right now.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

itchy skin - aloe vera gel direct from the plant is cooling, as are many aftersun creams.
Definitely not one of the paleskins here, I'm very fortunate that I can go in the sun. There's just never enough of it for my liking, 7am to midnight would suit me fine! (sorry sun sufferers). The clue is in my name! :rotfl:Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -
I do love the feel of the sun on my back, especially after a long winter. Love those first days of spring when you start to feel the warmth again.0
