That's it, I'll shut up now...but would be interesting to see other peoples' fancies!
Who is that? Sorry don't recognise him at all?0 -
I fancied George Michael and Boy George when I was (much!) younger. I clearly had a type :rotfl:.
My first ever crush was Morten Harkett. 30 years later and I still would. Have seen a-ha live quite a few times

If you are much younger than me, then you won't.He is the last Shah (King) of Iran who was forced into exile in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeni. The Iranian monarchy was then abolished. The Shah died in exile in Egypt in 1980.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Definitely. (Knew there was something else I was going to reply to yesterday).
Every service like this I've ever used has charged if you cancel within 24 hours (driving instructor, flute teacher, the counsellors we use at work, etc).
I think it also helps people to see it a 'proper' professional service if they have payment terms and the like. Not that I'm saying you're not professional PS of course - just that people do tend to take the mick a bit if you let them.
They seem to have got it into their heads that pt is something they can just dip in and out of. Or like last week, I spent time checking out if was ok to bring their kids along (I share space with two other pts) because one said she was going to bring the kids along rather than miss it. Then I double checked whether pt was still on and it was at that point I said I need to know what's happening tomorrow. They weren't sure (schools are off for easter). So we left it.
On Friday evening as I was leaving the studio the other person I was training (they are a couple), said that they might be going away next weekend. I get that. I also get that people have lives and childcare brings it's own stresses.
But I can't function on maybe. The girl of the couple does my group fitness classes faithfully, week in and week out, I just think somehow they seem to have an impression that they can dip in and dip out of pt. I can't function like that.
At the end of each session I'm going to have to ask folk if they can make the next one and if it's I'm not sure then that's going to be have to be taken as a no.
Block booking and pre payment would help but some folks can't afford it even though my rates are affordable.0 -

I know!! Just read that he likes rock music and theatre....we're a match made in heaven! Now, just need to get rid of the first husband (he's bugging me right now!) and I'll be sorted!0 -
There are probably a good few men in band crushes I've had over the years but the only one I can remember right now is roger taylor from Duran Duran.
The one that needs no remembering is dave from Depeche mode.0 -
Love depeche mode. They are so good live.
Am having an overwhelmed panicLots of stupid work (things that shouldn't be difficult, made difficult by people not doing basic things they really should). Have also forgotten my MOT again and the utility room is underwater.
I used to be fine with sorting things like that but feeling v pathetic today. FOH has sorted the utility room and is now offering to sort the car too.
Instead of calmly working through the things to do list I'm having a sniffle at my desk and getting FOH to fix everything. I lived on my own for a decade and was fine but I seem to have regressed to the point where a leaky freezer reduces me to tears.0 -
I have a personally signed, framed picture of Cary Elwes on my wall from when he was in The Princess Bride. So dreamy!
