I'm essentially doing this years "holiday" alone  However my plan is to camp with an established camp for "loners"! Its basically an official camp organised on the festival forums for anybody going alone. I'm not going to lie i am somewhat nervous but also excited. I felt rather held back by my ex last year, i didn't really lt my hair down or enjoy myself as much as i had to look after him and put him first. Where as this year i just get to unwind and enjoy myself as i see fit.
also: off topic but i'm a bit worried bout my friends. my friend was meant to be induced on saturday, and so far not heard any news. i'm hoping everything is ok (i know labour can take a while), but still worrying. i messaged my friend yesterday saying i hope everything goes ok and i'm here if they need me.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Not only gorgeous, but his character is just, kind and loving, with ethics and a code of honour.

Am confusing myself by keep switching between the two programmes though - I get an hour of lovely Irish accent, then it's back to lovely RP.0 -

This story makes me Very joyful. Thank you! I'm glad my signature line triggers this for you :j:j:j:j:j0 -
Similar story in India, JM. Tour leader was going to take us to an elephant festival, coach driver said too dangerous (we decided afterwards he just wanted a day off) so parent and I got a taxi reasoning that we could pay the driver to wait for us and leg it if we felt unsafe. A lovely day had by all.
I have to be honest though, we talked each other into it. I'm not very brave and would probably have bottled it if I were on my own. Doing more travelling hasn't made me any braver. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I was going to say the same. This is your living. They can't expect to cancel at short notice without a charge. You could book someone else into that slot.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Definitely. (Knew there was something else I was going to reply to yesterday).
Every service like this I've ever used has charged if you cancel within 24 hours (driving instructor, flute teacher, the counsellors we use at work, etc).
I think it also helps people to see it a 'proper' professional service if they have payment terms and the like. Not that I'm saying you're not professional PS of course - just that people do tend to take the mick a bit if you let them.0 -

Code, can you record the bullet points of it on a dictaphone or your phone? Get the basics down until the writers block disappears.
There you are, a treat for Monday morning:

JM, that is a lovely story! I like it when people have a sense of adventure! I like to think that I do, but I don't think I could travel on my own, I admire people who can!
Purpleshoes, its a shame about the Wowcher deals being based on 2 people as an awesome Amsterdam deal has just came up (I get them sent daily by email), 2 nights for £79!0
