Would it be ok if after all of that, my thoughts are coming down to staying in my current but lower paid job because I can pick my hours and there are loads of holidays and I get sick pay and they can't get rid of me and let me work from home when I don't feel well? I'm feeling very, very over the top meltdown type anxiety at the thought of moving and have been since yesterday.

I am honestly hyperventilating atm.

OK, I understand the thing about not liking change. And I understand the anxiety about moving employers. But you are a codemonkey - they are all nerds and so you won't get marked down for being someone who needs accommodating if you are good (and I'm sure you are!) - just tell it like it is and let them tell YOU what they can offer YOU!
