Heh. That's exactly what I'm like. One Christmas my sister decided I was just being fussy and liquidised sprouts into my soup. I spent the whole night in my parents bathroom being really embarrassed because I'd brought a boy home for the holidays and I'd turned into a massive sprouty gas machine.

Ah! I love sprouts! I had a vegetable stir fry yesterday and I threw a load of sprouts in too! Yum! Funnily, they don't make me gassy. Wheat, yes. Sprouts, no! Am I strange? ;)

Tea, I have IBS, no endo but I do have fibroids, both of which mess around with my bowel function especially around TOTM. Too much wheat and too many green vegetables cause me problems as does milk. I can eat all of those in small quantities but mustn't overdo it. What seems to have really helped me is Fybogel every morning which my doctor recommended. Do go to the GP, there are various things that work and various causes. Mine isn't helped at all by the amount of opioid pain medication that I take.

Well done, HBS! You were so brave! I really hope that you start to feel better soon. Big hugs.

I am so glad that work is being supportive, melly. Thinking of you and OH today.

SDW, can you ask CAP if they can find a place for you more connected to the admin side? The first voluntary job I ever did I just didn't get on with, everyone told me I was great at it but it didn't make it any easier. In the end I took further training to change my role a little and then I loved it. There is nothing wrong with asking for a change. Thinking of you, too.

As for me, TOTM, along with a nice dose of PMS (I am fat, ugly and a horrid person and can never be forgiven for any mistakes I have made because I am so horrid. I also have matching spots on each cheek, mini volcanoes in fact.). Hiding in the fort again.

Move over, WaS, I'm coming in. I just picked a word tussle with someone that I know I can't win anyway, so there is no advantage to having sent the email. But it was sent. Now I feel bad. (It was politely worded etc, just pointless when I know they won't give in and I will be able to find an alternative way of recouping the money anyway.

  • Ugh, come and sit down next to me, whitewing. If you hadn't sent the email you might have felt bad too. At least you can say to yourself that you tried. People can be frustrating.

  • Trust me, HBS you were very brave. You are bound to feel exhausted after taking such a big, positive step for yourself. Hope dance class isn't too difficult! Have another hug.

Hi there, it all worked really well at Job Club today. Thanks all for your good wishes.

I was able to confide my fears to another coach, who told me that she dreads the IT aspect of the Job Club, so we were able to offer each other support.

My group coaching session went well, with mock interviews and good laughs. Didn't have any one-to-one coaching this week.

    So worrying for nothing.

    Thanks again.xx

Well done, 7DW, really well done!

You should feel proud of yourself, 'cos not only did you manage to do well, but you did well while feeling terrified! :T :T :T

Yay SDW!! Good news and well done. :)

Thank you WaS - I hope dance will be OK too, they all got a bollocking and told to pull their collective socks up on Sunday so fingers crossed all will be well tonight.

    Le sigh!
