I have noticed increasingly lately how difficult it is for other people to know how extreme the thoughts and feelings are. So do explain everything, don't assume because someone knows about certain conditions or experiences that they will know how it affects YOU.

    Good luck.

See... another Monday, I told you there were too many of them!

Had a meeting with an agency this morning about the interesting job. I really do like the look of it, and think I could do it (or most of it lol!) Just got to wait now to see if I get an interview. It's less money than I'm currently on, but then everything I've seen so far is. Doesn't look like I'm going to have any hope of buying OH out.

Hope the assessment goes well Mrs Ryan.

    Ok.

This is not an easy post to write. Things with Beau aren't good. He's become increasingly distant and it's clear he's not happy and truthfully neither am I. I hate seeing him down but being unable to do anything about it and I hate the fact he seems to shut me out 99% of the time when he's not here. When he is here things are great but the times inbetween? It's like I don't exist. And I'm angry because our realtionship is hanging by a thread and yet he doesn't even care enough to try and save the damn thing. :( I don't know how much more I can cope with. I feel like I'm the one making most of the effort. I don't expect to even hear from him today. He's shut me out and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. :(

Sorry for invading the thread I just feel consumed by this and it helps to write it down

You're not invading the thread, MessedUp, that's what it's here for.

So sorry you have problems with Beau.
When you say he shuts you out, do you mean he doesn't reply to texts or calls, etc, or just gives short replies?

MU - please don't apologise x. This place is here for support... make use of it! :)

It's horrible when you feel things are going wrong and you have no control over it. Is it that he has a lot going on (work problems etc) and he's shutting you out, or is it more that he's just distancing himself in general?

FWIW, being ignored by my OH in my own home is the loneliest thing ever. You really do have my sympathy xx.

I mean he barely talks to me, he even admitted himself last time he was here that he doesn't know why but he shuts me out and that even with skype and stuff he still feels lonley and it gets him down. I try and talk to him as much as I can but he just doesn't seem interested. :(

I've never ended a realtionship before, but I hate to say it's weighing on my mind that I may have to :( we can't carry on like this. And I don't think it's going to change. I guess personally I've hung on in past relationships as I can't give up on people, and I feel like a terrible person right now for eve considering giving up on him. :(

messedUp, is it always you who contacts him? If so, why not just leave it for a few days, rather than decide whether to finish it?

    It is usually me.

I have texted him once today, to ask how he was feeling. No reply though he's at work so I expect that. I think I'm going to give him (and myself) space for a few days. It will give me time to think things through and give him oppurtunity to speak up if he wants to.
