. Mortgage provider is happy to let me borrow the full amount, solicitor happy, I'm happy.

Hello all! I have been reading, but this is the first opportunity I've had for a while to post. Special hugs to pyxis in grappling with scary things. (They usually aren't the worst things in life, the things you are dreading. Once you've started they do behave a bit like the ...ummm....wicked witch or whatever it was in the Wizard of Oz. They get smaller once you challenge them. The worst things in life sneak up on you and hit you round the head with no warning.)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I think it's Rapunzel, but I'm not sure! Haven't seen either. Well, I saw the alternative version of 'Let it Go' on youtube! (Don't ask!)
Edit. It's here......but warning..:D..don't listen to it if you've a sensitive nature about bodily functions!

That reminds me.... I need to watch Aladdin again, always cheers me up!
Managed to speak (briefly) to FOH about things. Told him the mortgage provider were fine with me having the whole amount, and that my solicitor reckons it will take about 6 weeks to sort. He seemed almost surprised. I'm sure part of him thought I was bluffing. Hey, maybe I was when I started but I really can see that this is the best thing for both of us now.
He said something about 'being kicked out' in 6 weeks. I replied that I wasn't kicking him out, I was implementing a joint decision. Still no progress on him finding somewhere else to go - not sure what I can do to get his ar.se in gear.
Fortunately no mention of him being due any further money though so hopefully that was the stupidly large amounts of alcohol talking.
I feel so sad that it's turned out like this, but I really do just want it sorted now so we can both move on. Sorting the practical things gives me something to focus on. No doubt once he has finally gone and the legal things are finished I'll be a snivelling wreck for a few months.0 -
