Just asked them on their live chat and they said its waived if you have their support package. I suspect it might be a customer not reading the full t&cs0

Were you not pointed to the terms on the website?
no i was not and there was no mention of this fee in writing, email or any of the conversations I had with sales... I feel that it was deliberately concealed from me.... should it not be shown on the pages detailing the products if it is an essential purchase?
The law says it can not be mis-leading.....0 -

or an attempt to conceal a £175 a year fee by not making it clear...
statutory rights make it clear that sales have to be fair, transparent and not misleading.....
Somewhere other than the T&C's there should be a mention that all systems require an annual license renewal.0 -
seem's I am not alone:
this is from trust pilot:
Ask these questions before you purchase
When they sell the product, few things they will hide
1. you must keep paying the subscription all the time you need to use the product. They term it as software license fees.
That means the tilt system is just a piece of junk hardware.
2. As they hold your data on ransom, they will get away with any kind of rubbish service.
It means you don't pay them you will loose the complete data it it will be inaccessible to you.
3 you will not be able to add it edit of the program. As you will be logged off.
4 when you leave a bad review. They will lie we were trying to contact you. In fact no one will have ever attempted to contact you.
Ask them these questions before you purchase and get there answers documented, so you need not get ripped off like me.0 -

Why not ask them how this information would be conveyed to someone who ordered by telephone? If you've overlooked it then they'll be able to point you to where the information is contained. If they havent provided it then you can use that as the basis for your argument. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
You are not a consumer your are held to a different level and need to do your own due diligence on these matters.
A consumer would struggle with this since it's there in writing whether you read it or not, as a business you no chance.
What you need to realise is consumers get their hands held and rightly so, companies can make it difficult for the man in the street to understand contracts. As a business you have no such protection as you are supposed to be savvy enough to understand or seek legal advice if not.
Tbh as a business the T&C's are the first thing you should read, this is your mistake.0 -

I think you've got a good case, considering they state on the product page that:
"Everything is included to get you up and running with ease and there are no hidden costs."
The £175 is a hidden cost0 -

“No Hidden Charges then hit you with license fee!”

We took this software as it looked great and did everything we needed. We took the software only package for £499 + vat and was told that is all we needed to pay, along with their marketing as 'no hidden charges'. All has been fine for 12 months, until now we are told we need to pay £175 + vat as a yearly license fee! Save your money and go elsewhere! we are! Shame as the software works well… Read Full Review0 -
