TSB well is still Llloyds

My point was that they would have to be separate institutions. This has nothing to do with the systems or customer experience. Lloyds still have a 50% share of TSB but I was unsure if that meant they were still part of the same legal entity. Thanks for your helpful attitude.0

You could have read what I posted in post #2 of this thread. Or read the TSB and Lloyds websites.Archi_Bald wrote: »TSB is a completely separate legal entity.

Well, exactly - OP seemed to have the view that shared systems or customer experience did imply that they weren't separate institutions, and hence the plethora of posts (starting from the very first reply) clarifying that they are separate institutions regardless of shared systems or customer experience! My point was that they would have to be separate institutions. This has nothing to do with the systems or customer experience0 -
Can I ask if TSB is a completely separate institution from Lloyds now? I want to set up an account at TSB but I don't want Lloyds to be able to access the account to offset my business loan with Lloyds .
For the purpose of set-off, they are completely different companies.
(Some Lloyds IT staff will probably be able to see TSB details, but that's by virtue of IT support, not a banking/customer relationship. As others say, Lloyd's still hold shares in TSB, but TSB has its own board and governance)0
