    Quite right too

    WOOTY WOOTY WOOT WOOT!

Rubies - the ONLY time I went up to the comp, unhappy with something was when DS came home with a black eye, having had a pencil thrown in it. His teacher assumed I was cross with the thrower (because DS 'had had his head down and was working' - yeah right) - not at all - I never found out who threw it because I never asked - I was cross that the teacher hadn't sent DS to the medical room, given it was, clearly, a serious eye injury and I suggested that perhaps in future the teacher ought not to be the one to assess such an injury. Luckily DS didn't suffer any lasting damage.

  • Thank you Valli, sometimes I do worry that I over react, but my kiddies are the most precious thing to me ever (along with hubby) so it's nice to know people out there agree with me, very comforting :)

His eye is swollen, but he's in no pain what-so-ever, so that's good.

7 boys aged between 11 - 13 is proving very vocal, and our friends have postponed due to bad weather, time to get lost in a book or film I think and huddle up to hubby.

Just popping in to say an enormous THANK YOU to my dear flylady friends. DD2'S fiance got the job.

It must be a day for good news. My DD1 passed her driving test today! :j:D It was her 4th attempt but she's done it now :D
I now need to find out about getting my old car back on the road for her  We'll have a chat with the garage on Monday when my car goes to have it's m.o.t.
I have been flying, just not really off the lists :o I spent yesterday afternoon sorting things in my room and going through my bookcase (and the 3 boxes of books :o ) got rid of some _pale_ I have also written a list of the books I have (sad I know :o ) so I don't double up when I shopping.
  • Wendy - I write lists of books too, so I don't double up when at car boots etc, nothing is a bargain if I've already got it!

  • Sorry ladies, I am literally unable to absorb anything. Congratulations to those with good news, hugs to anyone who needs one.

Boss from job no. 2 rang this aft. Someone was supposed to be completing a really important project which has to be finished by Monday morning and they have got into a complete mess with it. Would I take it over and finish it over the weekend? I need the money so I said yes. Having investigated further its going to take me hours. Have spent 4 hours on it tonight and I expect there is another 7 or 8 to do :(

So I am heading off to bed now. At least we will have some spending money at half term!
