Sorry I've been MIA - had my parents up 2 days and now I feel awful as have a really nasty cold/fluey thing going on so think it's a bit of a take care of myself/duvet day. Not slept properly for over a month now and am exhausted mentally and physically.

    Hugs to all x

Morning all :). My fitbit arrived :) so I have set it up and am proudly wearing it in my pocket! I am hungry today! No idea why that should be but I am eating nowt until lunchtime. I scoffed 4 slices of toast and half a packet of digestive biscuits last night and that was on top of my normal food! That's why I am a tub of lard :o.
I am about to head back into the cupboard under the stair as, TBH, it is my room of doom.
I just need to ensure I have been paid and drink my coffee and will then get off. Thankfully no snow stuck so we are clear and it's beautifully sunny so will take woofer for a nice walk along the beach later I think. Then she can go off lead and have a good run.
    TTFN x

ETA: CY, hope the interview goes well and that everything becomes sorted for the young ones. It is such a stressful time when things like this happen isn't it?

Oh Kaz, I got one just yesterday! Which one did you get? I have the Zip but due to feeling pants haven't exactly racked up the steps. I can see it's going to be really motivating and is already making me move around more rather than being sat on my bum for hours on end.

Flying wise, put away few dishes into DW, done a hot wash and put it on the airer, booked a Mr M delivery and done a list for L*dl. Hope to summon up my strength and get to the local shops later today.

Dusty sorry haven't read back but how's your Mum doing?

    DD2 in her new specs.

    Not collected DS3's or DD3's yet.. :/

Nails repainted Elsa style! Changed next nail appointment as it clashed with parent-tutor meetings.

    Ordered Crackers repeat prescription.

Post sorted.. mortgage statement arrived so I can do a preliminary estimate for the monthly outgoings. Monthly payment reduced by about £50 so looking much better.

Finally relocated my diary so I can get stuff like appointments written in there.

    Afternoon all
Pilates done, Mr L done, Mr M done, most of it put away, still 2 bags to go.

Testing the chicken soup (had a chat with the rabbi over the driveway about how they make it ;-) for lunch, so hope that Mum will try some but probably not visiting today, may pop up tomorrow lunchtime with some or could freeze a portion.

Plan now is a cuppa, WM and a quick tidy, promised DS3 a cake 3 days ago so need to do that too.

    Piggers, she's a cracker isn't she?
Mumof2, I got the one so I could see about sleep too, working nights is doing me in!
Have continued with the cupboard under the stairs. All DVDs have been bagged up in age order and we can go through them tonight a bag at a time to see what ones people have burning desires to keep. They will then be rehomed in the big cupboard upstairs. As far as I'm concerned, the whole lot could go. They never get watched and we have a subscription to sky and now tv so can always watch something!
Dusty, your soup sounds lovely :).
I'd better get cracking really, I need to walk woofer for a bit. And get diesel. And, as I have to go to town for spin class at 5:45 (!) I may as well go a little earlier and take DD's trousers back for refunds as I won't be able to next weekend either.

    Lovely DD, Pigpen!

I am delighted to say that we have found a(nother) care home for my friend which is just under an hour away by bus, with a stop right outside the home. It's one that wasn't on my list this morning because it was out of area and had had a poor CQC report last summer, but we are assured by the home and the social worker that everything has been put right now, and we liked the friendly but calm atmosphere and the staff that we met. They will go to assess my friend on Monday, so she (and I) can now relax for the weekend :)

Just about to pack, do a quick tidy round, then go away with DH. See you all on the new thread on Sunday evening.
