bunbun - hope hospital goes well for your ds today and you don't both expire from boredom
    Narco - fingers crossed!!!
Dusty - hope your mum continues to do well x
Iona - care home selection is really hard work and emotionally very draining. Can you narrow it down to start with by affordable top-up fees and size of waiting list? (although getting that information is not always as easy as it should be :() You are a good friend x

I'm off this morning as I have the second part of my sexual health training this afternoon - really looking forward to it - the facilitators are so engaging and the subject matter is really interesting. I've only ever really worked with older adults so this is all new to me :rotfl: 2 more afternoons on contraception next month too :D

putting laptop away now and cracking on now I've had my cuppa :D

Oh dear Pigpen, you've not had a great start to the day have you. No wonder you're  !

Dusty sorry I didn't get to post yesterday as doing stuff all day; glad your Mum's operation went well.

Decided not to walk the dogs today - opened the door and got met with really gusty wind and then rain which was blowing at me horizontally! I got soaked walking S to school. When I got in Whiz (whippet) took one look at me and went to bed .... he does NOT do wind and rain! Got Mum & Dad up from lunchtime for 24 hours so want to try and do some housework this morning so I can relax with them this afternoon .... or that's the plan. Also got a frog to munch.

Deleted as done or carried forward :)
Morning all :) just having a go at the list prior to getting going. It's really cold here today but I managed to dodge the blowing rain as it started just after I got home from gym :D.
Most of lounge done yesterday so a couple crossed off before doing anything at all :).
Just going to have a quick read around now.
ETA: Bossy, belated happy birthday to master moo. I love lego :).
Dusty, glad your Mum's op went well.
LW, hope you get some sleep soon. You must be exhausted. Is MrLW overweight at all? That can seriously interfere with sleep patterns due to struggling for oxygen overnight. My DH lost about 3 stone and he fidgets so much less at night now and his snoring has all but gone, it's only really when he's had a drink that he snores now.
I don't want to move! I have a sleeping dog next to me and she's telling me to turn sideways on the sofa and put my feet up under the blanket!

    Hi all

Internet has been down this morning, interesting when I'm working from home  luckily it was only about an hour and this weeks deadlines are already sorted. I had some offline stuff to attend to.

Stripped DD bed this morning so that's all washed and hung up to dry, and also another load with clothes sorted too.

DS told me this morning his friend up the road sometimes pulls his hair. When he doesn't do what his friend wants. I gently suggested he might want to start playing with some other boys, thinking he'd balk at the idea, but he nodded. Bless him. Thus far he has excused his "best bud" from iffy behaviour like that but I think he may have crossed a line. Good. He's a little s0d that boy ;)

I've loaded the DW, put the bins away and my meal plan seems to be working. We are having chicken and rice tonight. I'll do kebabs for the kids. Why will they eat chicken off a stick, but not if it's just chunks on a plate? Lol. And we'll have some broccoli.

I also want to vac and moo downstairs. Haven't mopped for err umm rather too long  will do after kiddies are away to bed.

We are forecast snow tonight but hope it hold off until after DD swimming as she missed it last week too.

    Right. Paid stuff!
