Quick catch up before bed calls!
Glad Mum's op went well Dusty - keeping you both in my thoughts. x
Happy Birthday to Master Moo.
Changed my mind about today's activities and have decluttered an 8.3 km treck - made in several trips - and now have completed the monthly food shopand first banking - except for 1 trip to farm shop for sack of potatoes and for frozen peas at Mr M - but the freezer is now full. All that so I could do it myself with trolley in the dry!!!
Tomorrow I intend to play catch up in the warmth!July 16 £95/£200

Thank you all so much for your good wishes. My sister has visited Mum and said she is doing very well and was chatting to her. I'll visit tomorrow.
Need to tidy up in the kitchen now and head up to bed. DS1 says his GF wants to come up for the day again on Sunday to see us all again and can I cook roast chicken. Need to see if I can juggle that around area cricket nets which are 40 minutes away in the middle of the day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just popping in quickly to say:
Dusty - Glad the op went well!
Bossy - Happy birthday to your DS
Sorry if I've missed anyone else, I've been reading on my phone through the day while waiting for the kettle to boil etc and lost track of what I wanted to say so hugs, spoons, sticks and vibes to all!
I've been busy today, I cleaned the whole house top to bottom in a make it presentable as someone is coming way. Noticed some cobwebs which I need to deal with, but that's a very long stick with a feather duster attached to it and standing on the stairs to reach job! The house is not perfect, but more was done this time than last time, and next time I can add in a few more jobsThis evening I've done HHI, but I haven't cleared the basket as I'm planning on doing the rest tomorrow night.
Tomorrow I have work all day, as soon as the delivery arrives I need to get stuck in. I have to make a delivery to a customer tomorrow night, which will then give me the cash to pay for ink so I can print newsletters etc on Thursday before making deliveries Thursday night. So I'm going to be non-stop and I have work Friday as well! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Sure no other sane person is up unless they are nocturnal like me.
Dustygreat news about your mum. Hope she makes good progress.
I've had the usual mixed bag today.
- Mr N came with me to do the horse this morning. He managed to do some mucking out and sweeping so must be getting stronger - I can still recall him in hospital saying he couldn't lift a glass of water so I had to get him straws.
- vacuumed all downstairs and tidied lounge in preparation for student
- did assessment and have scored up some of it
- various research for rugby tickets, short break in April and a few more 'motivating' activities
- I am typing this in procrastination as I WILL NOT GO TO BED UNTIL I HAVE PRESSED THE SEND BUTTON to submit my documents to renew my assessor's cert. I have checked, re-checked, re-calculated and worried over it for long enough. If I have to re-submit - well so be it.
Off to do it now.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Hiya everyone
Dusty - glad to hear the good news re your Mum ((hugs)) for both of you
Valli - all this flying does help when you need to find something ehI must say that I echo your wishes for the lottery
Bossy - happy birthday to your DS. Sounds like he had a fun day _party_
I took in both our mobiles for repair and have tiny basic phones loaned. They are better than nothing though and the other ones should only be about a week - fingers xd
Today I also went through all my jewellery and sorted out the unused and broken pieces. I'm going to take them to the jewellery man who is going to repair a ring and a locket for me, and is making my new-to-me ring smaller.
If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Morning all. I'm up bright and breezy, definitely not nocturnal! I go to bed around ten, need my 8 hours.
Right, breakfast has been consumed, bank account checked, dogs fed too. I'm going to take a look at the lists, may adapt some jobs to tackle the gym today (cleaning not exercising).
Have a great day everyone.
Gym dusted, can't do the floor yet as neighbour is still in bed. Going to do LR and HSL list from today before walking the dogs and picking up prescription before the paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning everyone.
Had a late night which is unusual for me. I was reading a book that I kept wanting to see what happened next.
Today I need to pop to bank and get some shopping. DD is coming for lunch. Later it's my SW class.
Will get up shortly and get started.
Dusty Get well soon vibes for your Mum.
Hugs, spoons, sticks and positive vibes where needed.0
