Flylady help please
My microwave is not working.
Put food in, turn it on, set time, press start, glass plate goes round, timer works, timer bleeps as it should, food comes out at the same temperature it went in at.
I've had the book out but it is no help
Anyone any ideas at all.....................OH is about to 'look' at it!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kazwookie, has someone turned it to "Defrost" and not turned it back to "High"? My DH did that today  - it delayed our evening meal by 10 min until I realised what was wrong!
:bdaycake:
Happy Birthday, Master Moo!
Thanks to everyone who has sent posivibes and prayers for baby Anna. I will update when I know more.
Thanks too for GWS vibes from migraine. It is better today but still there. Doesn't stop me eating, though
I have achieved a few things off my list today and need to spend the evening reading CQC reports on nursing homes for my friend, then tomorrow I need to go and visit some of them and try to find one which is suitable for her and convenient for her son to get to. I may not have much time to pop back on the thread until the end of the week.0 -
Thanks Ionafan, deforst is off, OH has looked, and we have looked @ google etc, it seems from the internet it is the megrtron (sp) is broken, advise from internet is to buy a new one as to replace the damaged bit, it as much as a new microwave. I don't uase it that much, only generally to heat up food, never to cook with.
Any way dinner done
Iroing done

Thanks for the happy birthdays. We've been building lego. He is a happy chappie.
Glad things went well dusty x
I'm about to take the recycling out, bin due in morning. Lots of wrapping paper to go
Then I need to decide what to do with my LR floor. Which I cannot see for little boy toys. Lol.
Or maybe I'll sit and build some more legoBossymoo

hello
switched PC on tonight to find monitor had gone...
luckily, as were were flinging some perfectly good, working ones a couple of years ago I had one squirrelled away - and, having sorted under-the-stairs fairly recently I (a) remembered I had a spare monitor and (b) could locate it.
Lottery/Premium bond-winning vibes please. I have had enough...I would very much like to be able to retire!
and poverty is looming...

Ahhh, happy Birthday young bossy. A sixth birthday and lego. There are times when I wish mine were still that age!
Well I was planning a steady afternoon but I got a phone call from job no. 2 with something urgent that needed to be done. Was a bit annoyed really but its money isnt it and our oil tank needs filling! There may be more to do on this later in the week.
LW hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.
We are having a visit from DWP tomorrow which I am not looking forward to. This is all about me getting appointeeship so that I can managed DSs affairs for him which should be straightforward. Dont know why I find these things so nerve wracking.
Well, going to watch a bit of telly and wont be late to bed tonight!0 -
I concentrated on the dining room today and have
Cleared the table and changed the cloth
Started sorting the desk that is in the dining room and sorted through piles of papers and a lot of pens and pencils - a large number of which didn't work:eek:
Walked the dog

Ironed school shirts for ds1. I did OH and ds2's at the week end but ds1 had his buried in his bedroom instead of in the washing basket:mad:
I am not sure how much I will get done tomorrow as ds2 has a hospital in Newcastle at 8.30 am. It is only 17 miles away but we will have to leave about 6.30 am or we risk being late because of the traffic. He is having nuclear imaging done on his kidneys. The dye is being put in in the morning and the pictures taken in the afternoon so a long day with lots of hanging around.
Valle thanks for the info on mould
Happy birthday to your ds bossymoo. He sounds such a sweetie!
Dusty glad to hear your mum's op went wellsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
