This thread is brilliant - I am on a cleaning and decluttering rampage since the beginning of the year! Not necessarily a new year's resolution, just coincidence.
Have been quite good at keeping on top of daily chores and keeping surfaces clutter free.
This is my list of frogs!:
[STRIKE]empty and clean all kitchen drawers [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]scrub all bathroom wall tiles[/STRIKE]
organise makeup & dressing table
wash all bedding
empty ironing basket
empty CofD (Cupboard of doom!) :rotfl:
Need to get better at night time routines though, as I am not good at getting up early on these cold dark mornings.'Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.'

Frog-munching sometimes has that effect. It will pass - after all, what is the absolutely the worst thing that can happen if the paperwork is wrong?Having a lovely morning...
Glass-finding vibes and I seem to remember you've pee'd on sticks but is it now time to go to the next stage of the nuclear options?
*ducks head*
Moo away, Bossy!
Welcome anothermoneysaver! :wave: And yes, the thread is brilliant. There is no way on earth I could have done all of the things I've done flying-wise in the last 24 hours if not for this thread:- Cleaned the oven and this time I actually did the shelves and shelf supports, so they are all sparkly, as well as the minging bottom of the oven which is the bit that I regard as 'cleaning the oven;'
- Vaccummed the place top to bottom - including the stairs;
- Washed the kitchen floor;
- Cleaned the bathroom;
- Decluttered OH to the station and will go and collect him in about an hour and half and send him into the market to get cheese and eggs on the way home *sneaky but ticks my boxes*
- Found the instructions to the microwave and yes, I do have a grill but CSed the wire rack because I didn't know what it was for *oops*
- Decluttered the varnish on my toenails and will revarnish them in a bit when I've had a bath in my nice clean bathroom;
- Fried seven onions for flanny-type thing for supper
- Remebered to turn up occasional lodger's radiator for her arrival tonight and put her towel back in the shower room
- Mended OH's Radio Times which I ripped while I was looking for something interesting to watch last night - has anyone else seen Bitter Lake?
Valli, if I did the lottery and won, you could have chunk of it so that we could Fly together, but as I don't could we come up with a cunning plan to get your life where you want it to be?Better is good enough.0 -

Dusty so glad your Mum's op went ok. Healing vibes for her.:o
Piggers if OH is complaining about an unidentified whiff in the front room, would it not be simplest for him to identify and deal with whatever it is? Or am I being naïve?:D
Hope Squeaks specs turn up.:o
Mumof2 I don't blame Whiz for not wanting to go out in the wind and rain; Dave the Yorkie is the same. The first time I tried to get him outside in the rain, he looked at me like I was totally bats, wee'd against the side of the carport, and fair stomped,if you can imagine a tiny Yorkie stomping, back to the front door.:rotfl:
Kaz2904 no, Mr LW isn't overweight at all; we've both been doing WiiFit for 6 years now, and we're both well down into the “ideal” weight range.:o
He wasn't too bad last night,:T apart from getting up for the loo a few of times, which invariably disturbs me – and, bless him, he misread the clock the final time, and asked me if I wanted my Oramorph.... at just shy of 04:00.:eek::D To explain, he pours it for me to take when the first alarm goes at 04:45, so that it's kicked in properly by the time I try and get up for my bath.:A
Unfortunately, I still spent a lot of the night staring at the ceiling.:cool:
I have neither mopped nor mooed.:D I don't mop as such, as we have carpet or carpet tiles everywhere. I'm rather more likely to hhowwwooowwwwwwllll than moo. It's a species thing.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
