LW, I'm around tomorrow if you would like help to go to the PO.
Dusty everything crossable is duly crossed for your Mum.
Ionafan hope you're feeling better today; migraines are the very pits, as I know only too well. I'll invoke someone suitable to keep a special watch over little Anna.Have already found todays item to declutter - why did we keep a remote control for something we no longer have?
Does anyone have a couple of matches I could scrounge to prop my eyelids open?:o 02:20 I physically manhandled Mr LW off my side of the bed, which he was occupying as well as his own share and fidgeting as well; 03:30 I hoisted him over onto his side in a vain effort to stop the bed-shaking snoring. He slept through all of this. 04:45, the first alarm goes off; we have to start getting up early as he helps me bathe and dress before he leaves for work, and I need my first dose of Oramorph to kick in before I attempt to do anything much; so I've not had much kip at all. Again.:( At least he didn't clobber me last night, so that's an improvement.:o
Mamaninie fwiw, Mr LW talks gibberish in his sleep a lot of the time. It'd be amuising if it wasn't so annoying!:D
I've made the dough for tonight's pizza; I need to make some sort of cake (possibly some little individual cakes) for Mr LW's lunch box, as he took the last of the sultana'n'spice buns today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Wow, Kazwookie! That is so not okay. Which bank, may I be so bold as to ask? I'd like to avoid anyone just unilatterally deciding I can't get at my money - I don't have enough to not have access to it.
Oven sparkly, windows sparkly on the inside, now to do those frogspawn things that are on my list. I mean, for goodness sake, who cleans the oven when the task is actually 'Waterproof new boots and clean new shoes?'Better is good enough.0 -

Talking of which, the loo needs a scrub, so I shall sign off now and remedy that situation.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi all,
Been AWOL due to life in general the last day or so. House is feeling it. Hopefully have a bit more time for "stuff" tonight. After I've sorted the kiddies.
My DS is 6 today :T bless him he's such a sweetie. At 10pm last night I was in his room doing a mini makeover with his new lampshade and wall decal and bedding etc. it looks lovely. I started work a bit later so I got to see him this morning, he sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes, and a little smile spread across his face. He leapt on me and gave me the biggest hug. What a sweetie
We were supposed to have tea last night with grandparents but half didn't show. One called me 4 times, basically trying to make themselves feel better "but have I upset you by not coming?" I'm not flipping answering that just so you can excuse yourself! Same one has called today asking if I can go wait in at their house on Friday while the new door is fitted as they have to go out  my answer "I don't know yet, it depends how bad the snow is". Gah. /rant
Oh I also got a phonecall from work at 4.45 asking for something they could easily have asked for hours before, and insisting they need it that night and it can't wait till morning. They too were told no. I was in "don't mess with me" mode.
Just me and the kiddies tonight so we'll have some nice quality time together, once I've picked them up. He's got some more presents to open too
I'm WFH tomorrow so might be able to get a few things done.
Hope everything went smoothly today, dusty and posivibes for baby Anna too xBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Bossy I love hearing tales of the little moos and hope he is having a wonderful day. Good on you for staying firm.
Mum has made it through the op and is awake in HDU. Sis is going to pop in on her way home from work (I have finance meeting so can't go today) and let me know how things have gone.
Gradually getting through bits and pieces I need to do, think I'll do the same tomorrow. Just having a cuppa then I'll do dinner for DS3.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
dusty just popping in to say happy to hear mother has had op and is in HDU. Still sending best wishes.
Kitchen Done yesterday.
Exhausting day today, two lovely groups, and one horrible - consequences will follow.
Love, hugs, sticks and spoonsIt is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
